My pal, chasethestickman, and I have considered doing a collab based on a group of Scratchers writing album reviews for a little while now, and so now I finally decided I'd go for the idea.
To put it in short, in this collab, we'll basically be a team of music-savvy Scratchers expressing their music interest in the wonderful form of album reviews. All these reviews will be compiled into a newspaper called "Album Review Guide", which will be edited in a similar vein to a previous project of mine, "Gamer's Delight".
I'm looking for people who live and breathe music, or can at least give a fairy good analysis of an album. If you wish to partake in the collab, please send me an album review of yours in any format you can (Scratch projects, links from another website, or just the trusty old Scratch post).
We shall be writing about album reviews from any era, just to make sure we have a good variety. We should also regularly give out an album review of a current release when there is one worth talking about.
We won't be just focusing on album reviews (though that is our primary focus), we'll also occasionally fit a song review or two into an issue to either fill in space or if we feel the song is notable enough to have its own separate article.
Interested yet? Then, check out the roster below to see if there's a job available!
Roster
Manager - All4one
Editor - All4one
Reviewer #1 - All4one (For this job, you have to have fairly good writing skills, and you must be able to study an album or song to its core. Also highly preferred is if you're knowledgable on the history of music and know a wide variety of musicians.)
Reviewer #2 - chasethestickman (See above.)
Reviewer #3 - N/A (See above.)
Reviewer #4 - N/A (See above.)
Reviewer #5 - N/A (See above.)
We will officially start work when we have at least three editors.

I would join but I'm absolutely horrible at analysing songs.

Hmm, well, I know you're in "The Scratch Chatter", so that's a good start.
Do you think you can do a song review for the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen?

Since it's a new release, I think it's a great idea.

Green Day iUNO! Review
From Nuclear Family to Oh Love this album is just a normal Green Day album,
But how most of the songs have the classic rock feel this makes this album a tad bit superior to Dookie. American Idiot being one of their best albums (in my opinion at least) iUNO! is just runnner-up for 3rd with Dookie still slightly beating it.How they DON'T use Autotune I like them a lot more than any modern artist today. So I'd give this album 4 and a half stars, Chase

Hey, man, here's my new review of "Please Please Me" by the Beatles. I hope you like it.
My review for "The Who Sell Out" will be up soon, too.

Hey, Chase, I got an idea. Instead of compiling our reviews into a Scratch project, why don't we make a forum thread specifically for all our album reviews? That way it would be more organized and more people are likely to see it.
What do you think? Should we put the new thread up?

No problem. Take your time.
EDIT - Our new official thread is up! Which means, this thread is probably rather obsolete, so I'll have to ask for the mods to close it - but I'll leave it open for a bit to serve as a place for chongyian to post his review.
Also, chase, could you post up your "!Uno!" review up on the official thread? Thanks.

Sure! Your reviews are very well-analysed, and since you're much more familiar with electronic music than me, you would fit in perfectly.
This thread is pretty obsolete now, though, since it's been replaced by the "Offical ALBUM REVIEW Topic" -- we're going to be closing it rather soon. Can you post up both of your reviews on the official topic? Thanks.
