On the new Scarcth 2.0 website, there could be a section on every project's page where users Can write Reviews about the game (like on Google Play) and give awards for the game, like My favorite platformer, Innovative gameplay, great graphics, good music, and more.

No support. People would:
1. Write horrible reviews for their enemies
2. Write great reviews for their friends
And new Scratchers would get put off by it.

Basically this. ^3^ Most of the comments are reviews, complimenting the game, talking about glitches, I don't think we need an extra review section. c:

You can already flame your enemies ("putting off" small kids) and praise your friends with the current comment system. It's bound to happen with any sort of social online interaction.
A star rating system would be nice, however, though not terribly necessary, as you can already write a detailed review with the current comment system, if you feel like it. I don't get how these "awards" would work, basically pre-made phrases which you use to describe a project?

Surely people could do that with comments though?

This could be harmful, as people could write hateful reviews. Scratch supports constructive critique, and having a free reviews section will allow people to cross the line between suggestions and being rude.
However, perhaps if the Scratch Team finds it a good idea, maybe we could have a 'Reviews Comittee' of scratchers who want to devote time to giving other scratchers tips and critique?
