Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

I just watched Blink.  I already have a small fear of mirrors, now do I have to put up with a fear of statues?  Ugh.  I'm not even good at not blinking.  Curse you Doctor Who.  tongue

Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

Alright, you know you've been watching too much Doctor Who when you have to focus when you speak to your parents so that you don't start talking with an English accent.

Uh
I'm pretty sure that doesn't actually happen

Actually
the whole idea is so silly I'm not sure how to rebuttal

I don't think your accent, the voice you use affected by the voices you've constantly heard since you were young, can change so quickly like that

I speak with a accent subconsiously sometimes
And I often reach into my pocket for a sonic screwdriver before forgetting...I don't have one.  tongue

That must be hard to get into your house when it is locked. That is, in the first second, before you feel your keys.

Halfway through there was a technical problem so everyone got out there toy sonic screwdrivers and started sonicing (yes, thats a word) the stage. All the daleks and cyber men came onto the stage! I'm such a nerd...  tongue

Problem with that for me is:

A:) I come from Britain so it's normal to have a English accent.
B:) I already had a posh accent before watching the series.

However:

A:) I come from an area which has a local non-posh accent.
B:) I love Doctor Who anyway.

Clearly, the English watch Doctor Who non-stop.

So much so that the crazy made-up accents of Doctor Who evolved into the modern day English one!

Only logical explanation

Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

My new favorite quote from Doctor Who:
"I'm up here being brilliant and there's no one to be impressed. What's the point of having you all!"
Oh, and...
"Are you lying to me?"
"No."
"Swear to me. Swear to me on something that matters."
".....................fish fingers and custard."

lol

Just post the full YouTube link and it will convert to a Scratch-page with the video on it.
