Sorry
What do you think about merging the two servers? Tekkit and vanilla?

Yeah that would be good! Please keep a copy of the vanilla map because if something goes wrong or anything like that and you want to change back to vanilla, the map won't be compatible.

Good idea. I'll also keep a copy of the Tekkit map, just in case some people absolutely hate it. But one question, will the new Tekkit ores and rubber trees and stuff be added in the already generated parts of the vanilla map?

No... They will spawn in newly generated chunks... no wait... that but... emerald isn't in 1.2.5, so the Skylinecraft map won't work in it. D: You could make a new map but people don't want to lose all their stuff.

Exactly
It seems it is possible (although complicated) to try and use a vanilla map on tekkit and regnerate unbuilt chunks, but it wouldn't be worth it IMO.

Wouldn't that mean you'd have to use Tekkit to connect to the normal server?

If Tekkit uses the same block ID for emerald as the ID for emerald in vanilla Minecraft, you would be alright using the vanilla map.

Is there a separate PVP server? I thought I saw a post about it...
That would lag having two servers running.

Oh and I forgot about other stuff in 1.3.2 that Tekkit doesn't have...

I'm more concerned about ores

The ores will spawn in newly generated chunks lol... I just want Tekkit to hurry up and update to 1.3.2.

Exactly, so the chunks we live on and stuff won't have rubber trees or new ores.
