So um

Every time I wanna use Scratch I have to reinstall it

Like, I uninstall it and reinstall it and then I can use it perfectly. Then I turn my laptop off, and when I turn it on again I have to reinstall it again. If I don't then I just click on the icon, it loads, then shuts itself down automatically

This all started when I was modding Scratch and did something wrong and then I right-clicked and selected "Exit" I think

Re: So um

I know that, I did it too!

All you have to do is uninstall, restart (don't press restart, shut down and start up again), and then install.

If that doesn't work, system info please?

Re: So um

I had a similar problem. First, I tried to make a Scratch mod and had to reinstall it, then I installed Scratch 1.3.1 and it deleted 1.4. I had to reinstall it again.

No, I was saying that installing 1.3.1 deletes 1.4, not providing a solution.

Re: So um

Okay I've tried everything, reinstalling multiple times, installing both older editions, 1.2.1 and 1.3.1 and then installing 1.4 again, uninstalling, restarting computer, installing

I guess I'll just wait till 2.0 then

Re: So um

Well that's odd. I figured if it was because you were modding it, reinstalling would fix it.
But obviously not.  hmm

yes, yes i do.

Re: So um

I heard somewhere that if you shift-click the R and click 'save image for end user' that fixes some problems.

That'd be great, if I could open it to shift-click the R

O.o
Maybe it was caused when you didn't end the program the right way when you were modding it. I had that happen with the Disappearing Text bug (I was editing the source code then the text went away) and I had to end the program through the control panel
