I'm with the Kingwood Branch Library in Harris County. We were thinking of having a "How to Program Your Own Video Game" program using Scratch in the Spring. However, our staff is not overly familiar with the program. We are looking for someone who is to teach the class. To contact me, please reply to this thread or email kw@hcpl.net with Attn: YA in the subject. Thanks for any and all help.

I don't live in Houston, TX, though, I could still help. I was thinking that if you didn't find any teachers, I (and some other scratchers) could teach your teachers some of the basic and advanced stuff of Scratch by using the Scratch website. Other then that, good luck with finding a teacher!

Hiya KWLIB! I think the best place to look for a Scratch Teacher is the ScratchEd website, made exclusively for teachers who use Scratch! The main website's request forum is usually used for requests of pictures and music, signatures, and game reviews.
ScratchEd even has a list of educators under the 'Find People' category. Here are some Links:
Main Site: http://scratched.media.mit.edu/
Members List: http://scratched.media.mit.edu/members
ScratchED Forums: http://scratched.media.mit.edu/discussions
Hope this helps, scratch on!
