This is a general topic about one of my favorite genres. This is, as the title implies, a topic to discuss anything related to the genre, and will not focus on any of the main seven camps (Capcom, Midway, SNK, Namco, Sega, Tecmo, and Arc Systems) of the genre.

Well, as for myself, I used to be a major Mortal Kombat fan, but I gradually shifted away from it towards other fighters as interests changed. Ironically enough, my new favorite is the Capcom fighters. I also plan to be attending EVO next year when it happens. Speaking of EVO, this.

Well, discuss.

I personally am not a huge fan of them, but then I haven't known many of them. Toribash is good though, if that fits in to the topic.
