Is it punbb? And did scratch buy the forums so the link would not be "scratch.mit.edu.punbb-hosting.com?

These forums are fluxbb, a mod of punbb. I think scratch them just downloaded it and installed it on their servers. By the way, it's possible to host punbb servers without usin punbb hosting.

You're allowed to remove it. That's what they did. It's also what LS and I did on Mod Share.

As for the original question, it's hosted at MIT with the rest of the website, just on a different server.
