I just got it and it is really cool! Does anyone know of a good online skin editor with support for hats? Please? Or a good native texture pack?

I've been thinking hard about this for a while. Would a live minecraft internet radio program be interesting? Viewer participation, live let's plays, interviews ect. I wrote a big long thing about it HERE. Let me know what you think over there.

but we all know you're a zealot for the sandbox openness of Alpha/Beta c:there's now customizable superflat, an option to remove slimes, nice smooth lighting that makes stuff look better... isn't that MORE sandbox openness than the old MC? It had its perks but I think those were far outweighed by its flaws.
i don't see why u guys hate so much
i mean i'm not saying you're like "hurr durr dis grate adventur survivalal cre8ive game that jeb and dinnerbone and etc have created ovr tiem from the god notchs orignal gam SUX!111!!! i just luv da alphuh wit the ugly eye hurting grass and no smooth lighting and not as many bloks and wit 1 kindn of tree JEB SUXES NOTCH ROCKES HUERHRURR" but um yeahI like not having smooth lighting! I play the modern game without it!
And one tree is nice. Everything so CONSISTENT!
There aren't slimes in several versions of Alpha and Beta.
I don't want more things to build with. I want a Survival game that can still be relaxing enough to goof around with some building in.
The way it is today, I absolutely HATE the early-game because I have to do the idiotic animal farming to survive at all.
Customizable superflat is a way to play, more intended for creative mode. I don't want that. I want a survival game that I can be creative in.
Alpha and Beta are great for MY tastes. End of discussion, okay?
I will say though, generate structures = ON with Superflat and Hardcore mode is great when I feel like a challenge, though.
Well, ok. That's your opinion, I guess lol
I was in a bad mood when I wrote my previous post though

The only actual complaint I see in there is that creative isn't survival and survival's too survival.
Hunger sucks, yeah, all I do is bonemeal mushrooms and cut them down, easiest source of food. The quality of the game's rendering is hardly something that's really bad, unless you like the nostalgic feel of 1 shade per block. The only thing that's making survival not that creative is food and the fact that everyone hates building more than a wooden box using every color of wood, once you have a nice cow farm set up you have stacks of meat and all you need then is the will to build.

Miners Need Cool Shoes is good for basic skins. I use GIMP for making mine, but I use MNCS for a reference.

I looked earlier, and it doesn't have any of the features mentioned.

Just get 3D Skin Edit with a quick google search.
Not online, but it's the best skin editor I've ever seen.

The new snapshot is out, and it has more superflat structures, swamp huts for witches, and a new home for slimes! (SWAMPS!)
EDIT: Swamps are going to be... like... ten times more annoying now.

I am happy it this. It gives a reason to use swamp biomes other than mushrooms.

They seem to have forgotten about Mod API, it's always "next update, for sure".

I want images to see how it works, and please, just a link to the Google search, I don't like LMGTFY.

I'm going to start a new survival world when 1.4 comes out. And you know what? Instead of building a house, I'm going to start off by training in swordplay and archery. And when I'm good enough, I'm going to defeat a witch and turn the hut into my home.

I just found out about a texture pack called "Trollcraft". It's a really mean texture pack which changes lots of textures around. For example, oh, I don't know, lava with water? Iron doors with wooden doors? Diamond with coal? Or my personal favorite, TNT with netherrack.

It's probably the only actual complaint because those were never meant to be true complaints in the first place.

The customisable 'flat can have mines, strongholds, dungeons and more so it may be good for Superflat Survival.
