Just Wondering..

This is a very useless question, but can I use goole translate to communicate in other languages? Thanks  smile

i think you can, but it's uh not really recommended because things like google translate can garble meanings, etc.

You're not really supposed to use Google translate to talk there, it's pretty much just for people who speak those languages.

I can't quite remember the exact reason he gave but he said it's discouraged

I don't consider it rude if they're requesting something (help, sprites, etc) but they might get annoyed by the bad job google translate does so I suggest you don't unless you're helping them.

only do it if its necessary to communicate to that person

imo dont try to speak their language just to show off. however if you actually know that language (i know french) go ahead
