Well linking works decently if we link a project or stuff but i was on stackoverflow chat and were discussing about a inutiative ways to plot relationships etc , i felt like sharing the remix viewer of scratch..
When i linked it .
it gave us a 404. with a log message on the top saying
Referrer: chat.stackoverflow.com/rooms/12285/recycle-bin, URL: scratch.mit.edu
I guess somebody forgot some php code check or is it not allowed to link it ?

could you provide an example to a link on another site where it does this?

OS = Fedora 17.
Now lets get down to business why will i need id number , when writing the url in address bar takes u to the link but when http referrer header is set it fails ? seriously that just doesnt makes sense atall.
I guess its logging out the refferer header maybe they were trying to block access from some websites and forgot :? or logged it out when its not supposed to be their [ some inline log for testing something ] and forgot to remove it, hey human errors do occur.

That's pretty weird. I would try making use of a URL shortener.
Anyway, you should probably delete your messages. xD
