Scratch has been known to be a bit fickle with MP3 files. Try converting them to uncompressed WAV files, Scratch always recognizes those.

Almost all the files on the site are mp3. I use Audacity and Adobe CS5.5 so there will be no problem converting, thanks.
Was hoping it was something I was missing. That's a lot of extra work if you have a library you wanted to move over. Know of any software that will convert complete directories of mp3's?
