I just found that scratch2.tk links to the 2.0 editor, and no javascript required.
That's my link. Where did you find this?
I just typed it in to see if it would be something interesting, and it was!

First, get Chrome, then

javascript:document.body.childNodes[0].ASsetEditMode(true);

Hmm.... I tried both of them, a little confused on what to do... I went to http://alpha.scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static//Scratch_new.swf then I tried pasting the javascript url thing, and it just uses it as a google search.... Plus when I paste it in it automatically deletes the javascript: and just starts with 'document'... Any extra help would be great, thanks for helping me this far
P.S. Do you need scratch 2.0.swf downloaded? cause I don't have it...
P.S.S. Yah! Got it to work! Thanks for the help . I clicked the javascript bookmark I made and it worked!

I cannot access the alpha site because I don't know the code.

Offline
when gf clicked repeat until <is out [scratch 2.0 v]?> say [tell me the code] end say [scratch 2.0 is out!] for (2) secs

Does anyone know how to log into the scratch alpha now without alpha site access? This site posts a method but It doesn't work for me.

no
as far as we know, it works just about the same in every browser besides internet explorer
unless you want to say how it works any better in ff than in chrome, or safari, or any other browser
Offline
^^That is true.
I have Internet explorer and Chrome, and IE8 does not work but Chrome does

I have firefox, and its not working.
EDIT: To clarify, I can reach the scratch alpha and edit projects in it, but I cannot log in to use cloud variables etc;

It wasn't working for me either, but then I made the last (login) thing a bookmark (do that by highlighting the url with username and pass then drage to bookmark bar, use chrome) then click on it when you get there... Now I have 3 bookmarks, 1 for the site itself, the next to get it working and the last to make me log in.

What was the reason they got rid of the Username block? I forgot
