I really hope your viewpoint changes when you grow up
Because not caring about how the world is going is basically not caring about yourself  hmm

Well, that‘s because I‘m still not an adult.

Of course I‘ll care when I grow up, but currently...

Ponies > Politics.

just because you're a kid doesn't mean you're not a person (no matter what some establishments may have you believe)
i believe people should care about politics because it decides how the world is going and you still can make a difference by spreading your opinion

and i'm fairly certain that you can care about both my little pony and politics (and i'm not entirely sure how that's relevant)

Actually, I'm a teenager. And I just said ponies as an example.

I meant that I'm not a big fan of politics, but I think I used the wrong words...

Anyway, back on the topic, you guys. Because I'm out of here.

Re: United States 2012 Presidential Election

People, during the recession the economy of the United States lost an approximated 8 million jobs, with an approximate 4 million under the Bush administration and 4 million under the Obama administration. After the recession "ended" the economy added 4 million jobs, making Mr. Obama the destroyer of an impressive 0 million jobs. And don't complain that those jobs are just public-sector government jobs, as the number of people working in those jobs dropped by 0.6 million, which helps to blunt the real growth of American jobs. Additionally, consumer debt and other impediments to growth are all getting lower, which hopefully means the beginning of an even larger recovery. So where are these "failed policies"? Obama has effectively negated any job losses during his term, and the economy is set to gain more.

Re: United States 2012 Presidential Election

I really disagree with the opinions of Mitt Romney regarding social issues. It's sad that religiously based discrimination and baseless bigotry is a relevant political topic in a country based around the freedom to have or not have religious views. I consider myself Christian, but I don't want impose the laws of my religion, which I choose to follow myself, on people who don't share my opinions.

Also, Mitt Romney is just rather unintelligent when NOT talking about politics. "Why can't they make it so you can open the windows on planes?" is a (paraphrased) quote he actually said.

well gosh veggieman, not taking me seriously. :L

But what does that do for the country?
It's COUNTER-INTUITIVE to his campaign. You know who rides planes? People with enough money!
The upper-class citizens he's protecting will fly out the plane!

It's not the death that's the problem, per se! It's the inability to be intelligent about his goals.

He's provided a campaign just good enough to gather Republican support into the final elections
then he'll completely ruin it and let Obama win for his cause?
