Oh no, you can use my music. I'm okay with it if you use it as long as credit is given. Also, I would like to contribute a bit more, though I can't do that till Friday.

so I'm working on the Ugha sprites, so I now need you to find something to do. Seen as there is not much, you might as well keep looking for more music, so that we can choose between them rather than having only the ones we currently have. For now, only look for Egyptian and Futuristic, I think I have the other four sorted.

I could work on the platformer engine, though we need the Ugha sprites done for that. After about an hour and a half, I'll start looking for music.

perhaps we don't need another engine, why don't you try both my Rayman 4 and "My Original Idea" projects, Rayman 4 is a little more complex but also has more glitches, MYO is more recent and has less glitches, and also allows the camera to move separatly to the player for in-game cut-scenes.
We can still make another engine if you think they're not good enough but I think the MYO should be fine for this.

Right, before we continue I think we need to decide something. You see, if I'm doing the engine and the graphics (to keep it similar to the comics) then they're the two major things gone and I feel selfish. Perhaps we should go back to our original city idea.

You know what, because Scratch 2.0 isn't coming out until around December time, it seems pointless planning now. Another thing is that when Scratch 2.0 comes out, I bet that all I want to do is have fun messing around with the new blocks and experimenting, and I'm sure you'd be the same and you wouldn't want to be dragged down by a collaboration.
So, if we're not goanna make it now, and we're goanna need a couple of months independently before Scratch 2.0 comes out then we're probably not goanna make this for another year? So, either we make it and finish it before Scratch 2.0 comes out or we'll never get around to it. Now I think it would be pointless making it in this version, because we're not goanna be able to make many improvements to it that would make it different to G:4001, and it might as well be just a scenario pack for the original so I really don't know what to do, and I don't wanna make what is essentially an expansion pack.
Well, I've come up with a solution!!!
Problem #1: No point planning now. My new idea will not require any Scratch 2.0 features, so we can start now and everyone could get involved.
Problem #2: But there won't be many improvements? Well, that doesn't matter if we use the same version of Scratch- because this idea is completely different anyway!
Problem #3: But I'm still waiting for you to tell me what it is! Okay- ever played Build A Lot?
Screenshot!
Well, I came up with the title "Generation: Ville", which could be (if you agree) a real estate game where you still get to build a city with shops, utilities and other things- but the emphasis is on gameplay and not enormousness.

[Couldn't I have done the engine and you the graphics? I could have made it scrolling, and I could have added the ability for the camera to move away from you. I was starting to get my hopes high for our collab. Also, I wanted to do a platformer, but if we have to, I'll go along and make G: Ville. with you.]A long time ago... wrote:

[Okay, I agree.]

don't forget, FireDrake signed up because he had never made a game like this before, so by making an adventure game it gets rid of the purpose why he joined, and to be honest I was looking forward to making the engine as well and I'd of cried like a baby for it, so it would of saved us an argument because I can be obsessive with certain things, it's just me. I promise this will be my last idea-change, and we'll stick to it!!!
Plus, it's an all new engine to me, so we'll all have to collaborate together. Okay, I'll be honest I tried making it this time last year and I failed, here's a flash-back but it's probably glitchy and looks horrible: Scratch A Lot!

[I can already see that Firedrake969 and I will be able to help a lot with the graphics. So who will start our tycoon?]

It's okay. Also, when will Firedrake969 and I be able to start to help with G: Ville? And when I said start, I meant the beginning of the project, not the opening screen.

So I'll just wait till you update the game and I'll go ahead and work on it a bit.

well you might as well change the name, and edit what you need to. Don't start on the actual game screen yet, in fact what are you planning on doing? Just a routine check up that's all!

Are you okay with me doing it right now or do you want to update the game first? And yes, I was just going to do a routine check.

I'll need 30 ~ 40 more minutes before I can start because I'm taking notes for Social Studies, but by the time I finish, it'll look great!

I don't have super-stay-awake powers, so it's more like 4 hours.
