I made a game and the script I had used worked. I saved the project then went back to it five minuites later and the same script that did work, didn't work. Is this something I am doing wrong or is it a bug?

Okay. It is called Cat Balanced Diet game and the cat is supposed to change sizes when it hits an object.

Here's the link.

Is it the Disappearing Text Bug? Look for empty variables, drop downs, and number and string inputs in the script. If they're all empty, then yes, it's the DTB.
Otherwise, it could be something else, like the Second Law of Thermodynamics, which can affect computers, or invisible cosmic rays. The laws of science can affect files on your computer. Where do you live? If you're far from the magnetic poles, it's highly unlikely to be the second one. A virus could have caused it.
Look for signs of a virus (e.g. pages are distorted, files don't print as expected, etc.) If you found any, it's just a virus.

The variables/drop downs/number inputs are not empty so it can't be that. I live quite far away from the magnetic poles so it is not that. Also, if it is a virus then it is only affectng scratch on my computer because everything else is working fine.

Were you doing anything differently the second time? (e.g. viewing it in Presentation mode, etc.)
No. Eacactly the same.

I saved it, did something else then came back to it and the cat wouldn't change size anymore like it s before.

Using other programs interfere with Squeak execution. That can cause script failure. I don't know how to calculate entropy yet, except in the case of black holes. So I don't think you can figure out if your computer has too much entropy. Software viruses are sometimes program-specific. Even if you're far from the magnetic poles, cosmic rays can still affect the computer. Did you see any difference in the appearance of the scripts the second time? If no, that leaves us to the SLT. Also, sometimes there are script execution errors, which is the quantum mechanical uncertainty principle.

What did you do while you were gone? Did your anti-viruses respond?

Did you include initialization? (No, I did not make that word up)
Off-topic: I'm a Scratcher now!!! Yay!!!
