Scratch Team, please read this! (History of Scratch)

I am doing a report on Scratch, and would like some information on how it was made, when the project started, how long it took, etc. If anyone who is part of the Scratch Team could give me information which you think might be of interest or helpful, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I will report for this to be moved to QaS, because I think that it would fit better there.

Who would win, SOPA or PIPA?

Cool!  I found some information for you:

Here's a project on the history of Scratch.  It's kind of old but it has some good information.

Here's a forum topic with more information.  It could use some updating though.

The About tab of the website has some interesting stuff too - here's an area that talks about the research papers that have been generated about the Scratch programming language and the website.

You might also try the Scratch Wiki - I couldn't find a general history section by itself, but many of the articles go into a lot of depth and have historical information about certain features.

There's a Scratch Timeline on the wiki. That contains dates of many events, and links to more info about the things it talks about.

Re: Scratch Team, please read this! (History of Scratch)

my brother (Matthew Brown) claimed he first came up with the idea of scratch, but because he is 18 right now and he dosen't know much about scratch (even thought he was sounding serious) i knew he was lying.

I finished the essay!
Should I report this to be closed, or leave this up so other people can add knowledge about Scratch?

What does it have to do with the history of Scratch?
