Makey Makey

I videotaped myself playing with mine but two adults came and ruined it all with talking

Their site
Found some programs to use! And one was in Scratch!
Go to makeymakey.com/howto and scroll down to see programs

Also I'm not spoiled or anything my godfather said he'd get me one a month or so ago when he found it on Kickstarter

I almost bought one of those, but I waited, hoping I'd win their contest. [Lightnin helped out with the Makey Makey forums.  smile ]

Re: Makey Makey

Don't the Scratch sensor boards have a similar (but less functional) feature with alligator clips?

Yes, but they can only be used in Scratch or modifications of Scratch.

Re: Makey Makey

I've just got a MaKey MaKey today! I would have gotten it earlier in September possibly, but I had some ordering issues.  tongue

So, does anybody have any suggestions for things I can make with it? I started by experimenting with some of the sample projects on their website, and by drawing diagrams on paper (since the material in pencils is partially conductive) - so by touching the shapes, the various keys would be pressed.  smile

Maybe I will make something to control Minecraft or some of my Scratch projects...

I used it to control Minecraft, but it used up ALL my alligator clips and wires. Go figure.  wink

I'd really like to play around with one of these, but I'm not sure for $50. I'm a big gadget guy, but I try to control my spending.  smile
