Hey JhonnyD! This forum is for help with creating and fixing Scratch scripts. There isn't really a place on Scratch for this question, so I'll close the topic. However, before I do I'll try to answer.
Getting front paged is partly luck, people have to be aware of your projects, but you also need to make sure you spend time on projects! Being front-paged isn't really a biggie, you should concentrate on enjoying using Scratch more than that, but projects are found on the front paged because they are getting lots of loves, views or remixes, or rarely because a Curator or Scratch Team member chooses it. If you want to make people more aware of your projects you can always post about them in the Show and Tell forum and advertise your projects in your signature like Firedrake is doing above. Remember not to post about your projects in irrelevant places like others' threads though!

guys ignore Mokat
Mokat might have been blunt in answering, but what Mokat says it's true: the topic doesn't fit in 'Help With Scripts' (so I moved it over to 'Questions about Scratch'), and popularity isn't very important on Scratch.
If you really want to get popular on Scratch, you will need to be pretty active and work towards it (and hope that people will like what you create. After all, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it). This topic is about getting projects popular if you're interested.
