That is automatically done by flash. It will ignore your keystrokes until you click the project.

Okay, rechecked Tanks-4, and everything except for the boss at the end works. This time, te glitch is that shells pass right through it, doing no damage, and not exploding when it touches the boss. The touch sensing was working on all the other tanks though, I'll check and see if this isn't just a script error.
Edit: Okay, this is wierd. I checked the scripts, they were fine, exactly the same as when I released it, and it worked fine then. But I tested it on the scratch player, and it went right through the boss, just like online. But it never did this before, and the scripts are unaltered since my last update, and I spent a lot of time testing it then, and nothing like this happened. What went wrong?
Maybe it has something to do with your scripts not resetting variables.
Example: The shells do damage to the boss, changing a variable. You save it, thinking that it works, but the variable never changes back, sticking that way forever.

I've had a very similar problem, with a very similar raycaster.

Disappointing really. I could get around this in so many ways too.

I was impressed that you figured out how to get into edit mode so fast! Sorry about disabling it for now, but it's not quite ready. In the next few months there will be opportunities for people to help us test Scratch 2.0. Stay tuned!
Finally!

You might have a different browser or flash version.

when viewed in display mode the centre of the whirl is not the middle of the display screen but keeps to centre of the smaller windows centre . This has an effect offsetting the spiral which is what i did not want to happen. Although the fault could be adapted .
using mozilla firefox, latest flash player, and using windows xp home edition.

Thanks for the report - we've been seeing a fair amount of this issue. We're looking into it.

I'm seeing the same thing in Chrome so it's probably not browser-dependent. Only a problem when viewed in Full Screen. Thanks for the report.

not really a bug but, on my project http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TRocket/1641394 if you type a letter it says NaN in the variable in the top-right, if you type Infinity it says 0. In the java player Infinity would be NaN. It seems the Flash Player treats "Infinity" as a number. This probably won't affect many projects but

in this project when you drag an unloacked sprite, its thinking bubble doesn't follow it exactly. it jumps to the top of the screen above the top bar. also if you drag a sprite while a question is being asked, the sprite overlaps the input bar

That's supposed to happen. It's going to be that way in 2.0 probably to (although you can make your own block color schemes

Flash player updated to v.155
- use old variable and list colors when running on old website
- bug: whirl and fisheye effects not centered in full- and quarter-screen modes
- bug: size of pixels in pixelate did not scale in full- and quarter-screen modes
- bug: stop button or "hide all sprites" leaves orphan talk bubbles for deleted clones
