I visited Scratch 2.0 and it asked me for a password.
However, I tried playing with the URLs a bit, and this is the 404 page:
Shouldn't it be changed so people don't know all of the URLs?

Yes.

Yes to the subject or the last sentence?
I think the last sentence.

Ok. I hope someone on the ST reads this soon and does something about it (and I hope that something doesn't involve banning me for posting the screenshot
)

maybe you should remove it and avoid the risk

you need a code anyway

Yeah, until it's released. However, once it is released, I don't think they want people to know all of the URLs. It could lead to security problems.

I doubt they'd really ban me for that.

Well...
It's not finished...
I'm sure they'll have an actual one up by the release

Still, in the meantime, do they want some intelligent hackers (like me
) knowing all of their URLs?

Well, not many hackers (that WILL hack the site) know about the site, and I'm sure you won't either

that's kinda like saying that you shouldn't buy car insurance if you aren't gonna crash your car, and you're sure your friends won't crash into it either.
See what i mean?

I know all the URLs for THIS Scratch site. That doesn't change anything.
Nothing's wrong.

No. I really don't.
That's a whole different situation.
And it's not a topic about rambling on about how your state farm does not provide.

Just because I won't hack it doesn't mean that nobody else will.
Ok, ok, I've tried to hack this website a couple times (i.e. trying to use AJAX to feature my own projects), but if I ever actually got through anything, I would immediately tell the Scratch Team about it (I never actually did get anywhere
)

This is just for debugging on the alpha site. It really won't be like that on the completed site. It wasn't like that for the time when it was open.

what's the problem with letting people know the URL's? It's not like making mod board public or something, no one could use that to crack Scratch.
People might be able to cause problems with it.

If the security of a site is based on concealing the URLs, the site needs to rethink its security.

Good point.
Also, they might just want a prettier page than that.
