Sparks is taking classes and works as well, so I can understand that he may not be on much.
He was on vacation recently[/offtopic]
I think our current moderators are perfectly good, no need for new ones.

You wouldn't've been on Scratch for long enough anyways; 6 months is required.
still…I think that he should at least be 3 years old...
3 years on Scratch?

Lightnin, could you let me know on one of my projects, the next time there is an election? I would like to run.

I don't think they're notifying people individually by request; you just have to check the forums like the rest of us.

Yeah, it's not like the curator system where they notify you individually, and even that is only when you've been chosen.

Well it could have been that or actual age.
Why do you think that, though?

To have experience with the community, I guess.

He's 12 not 3.

Not sure - we're rethinking the community moderator program, and there's a ton of work to do for the transition. Usually they happen every 4 months, if needed. Not sure about retirements - you'd have to ask the mods.

Interesting...maybe that'll be published on the 2.0 alpha and I'll be able to check out the new program.

I think that the current moderators are doing a great job, so I'm glad none are retiring. And since they are not, I think it is sensible that there should be no elections.
Thanks again, moderators. ^_^
