Offline 1.4 Totally glitchy

My Scratch 1.4 is very glitchy, and it started yesterday. When I try to draw something it crashing. The puzzle programming is glitchy too. Why this happen?

Edit: I reinstalled Scratch 1.4 and still can't use the sprite drawing and freeze when I try to add blocks.

Edit Edit: The games aren't working too.

It's not a glitch with Scratch, most likely it's your computer. It's working fine for me.

What are your computer's details?

Check for viruses:

Are windows distorted?
Does the computer keep crashing unexpectedly?
Does the computer run slowly?
Did you notice that some files were deleted?
Are you unable to print correctly?
Do you keep getting pop-up ads? This implies spyware.
Are you experiencing problems with certain apps?
Is your screen going blank?
Are any of your friends complaining about any of the above?
Try malware detection software. Does it find any viruses?
On Windows, it should give you a message like "18 problems detected". Do you receive any such messages?
