Re: circuitry

Exactly what do you want to hear about? There are alot of different kinds of circuits.

Re: circuitry

Ok. Well, first off, a circuit can not be. It must be closed. There must also be a power source.

Re: circuitry

Just get a battery pack for 4 AA batteries (never use mains power!!!), a few alligator clip wires, a few bulbs + holders, and possibly a motor or two, and then you can experiment with connecting them up, parallel and series circuits etc.

If you want, you can even get a voltimeter and ampmeter  smile

The Electronics Learning Lab from Radio Shack is excellent (I have one), and a step up from most snap-together kits. It uses the actually bare components, which gets you ready for making stuff without kits and instructions. Also, it comes with easy to follow instructions for things from basic circuits up to tone generators and stopwatch timers. smile
