Hello I'd like to become a curator so I can give some people a leg up. I have experience in make pretty good projects but only getting like two views and o comments so I'd like to help to give people who make good projects more views.
1: I curate projects that are 1-10000 year old safe.
2: I curate all kinds of projects and give everyone help (Not the already famous people so much though)
3: I know what it's like and want to help.

I would look at as many projects as possible and curate all of the good ones and some of the okay ones and give everyone on scratch a chance of fame. I would curate even the oldest projects and not only curate my friends projects. I want everyone to get a shot at fame on scratch, even people like me who have there most popular projects with only 30 views.

Very Interesting and Would like to be a Scratch curator....

I would like to become a Scratch Curator. I want to give others the chance to have their projects on the front page. Most of the people whom haven't had their projects on the front page are less well known or new Scratchers. The kind of projects I like are sophisticated yet neat projects. Projects that have lots of scripts and complex math equations however the program itself is neat. By this I mean it has to look like a video game you would see on your video game console, yet it has to have the elegance of a castle. It could be anything. Space shooter. Action RPG. Edutainment. Important messages that need to get out to the public. Thank you very much, please let me know when I can become a curator.

I would like to be a curator. I feel bad for scratchers to have a project which they work very hard on, but get 5 views. I want them to get the views they deserve if they worked hard enough. I would choose projects that have 60 views or less. They should have less than 20 love its. I will choose projects whom the owner has not been on the front page for 2 months or more, to give chances to the ones who worked hard. They should be appropriate for people of all ages. I will choose projects that are finished and not beta. For the projects, I prefer ones that help you learn. Also, I like games that are arcade. Look at this project for example: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/final4/2754463 It is an arcade game, has less than 60 views and less than 20 love its. I can tell he/she has not been front paged lately. I also will choose programs that are interactive, but it has to be educational. I found one project like this. If I people will request, I can limit that to 2 project requests per person. They need to be original. I could choose tutorials or messages, only if it is SUPER important like regarding the rules. I will curate tutorials only if its related to Scratch. Thank you.

I would love to be a curator. I am judicious and kind. I know what I am doing and I know what to post. I have seen many great projects, but they have very few views. I would like to help them get known. I would post maybe one or two projects that have many views, because I also feel that sometimes after a project is viewed, it is forgotten about. Please RSVP ASAP. If I'm not accepted, email me at [email removed by moderator] to let me know why. Thanks in advance!

Just for your info, I do not think you will get curated if you just say "I want to be curator". It does not show why you want to be one and what you will do. Also saying "can i be curator soon" shows that you may not like scratch much and/or just being lazy.
Please do not be lazy! Write a paragraph!
Thank you!

I would really like to become a curator. My account started for a class of scratchers and is now just me. I really enjoy games that have original or really-well done ideas, along with a good game overall. I am open to all genres of games and projects. I have made really original games, like frosty fight, and 1s1s projects, like my 1s1s magic 8 ball. Becoming a curator would be amazing for me. I would also really look for games that are really well-done, but have only recieved a couple views. Any project that is extremely well-done, whether 3,000 views or 3 views, would be curated by me. Thank you for reading this.

I am andrewjcole and I am running for curator. I believe that Scratch is made for kids but should entertain both old and young. I think that projects should be suitable for all ages. I would love to be a curator because I really enjoy seeing other curator's opinions and how they make the best choices. I would love to show others wonderful projects too! I have seen many projects in the Curator section on the homepage that I have loved. I would chose projects by their contents not their creator, by their awesomeness not their number of views. I would select projects like so: 30% Graphics, 30% Creativity/Uniqueness and 40% How fun it is to play/watch. I will chose projects that are different from anything I have ever seen. That is why I would like to be a curator.
Thank you for reading and good luck to anyone else that is trying to be a curator.

Hello! I know this application is just one in a see of applications, but I want to make my intention clear. Amazing people have revelotionized the way we think. I want to change somebody's internet experience. I want to get them those extra views. Projects worked on for long hours deserve as many views as the famous scratchers get.
I would like to become curator to help showcase the communties talents. Everyone has talents, but only some reach the front page. I will give people with between 10-85 views. The communtiy is made up of programers, artists, and scratchers of all shapes and sizes. I would like to showcase this. I would also curate projects withnever seen before scripts! Ones that really push the limit! Thank you for taking time to read this!
Examples of Projects I would Curate:
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/mikeono102/2794910
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/GurkinC/1580741
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/GurkinC/1725721

Thank you!

I would like to show advanced projects with advanced scripts nobodies seen before! I would like to show projects that really push the limits of the impossible on scratch. I would like to show projects that I think will revolutionize scratch! Like a type of project that will spread like wildfire if it got publicity everyone would remix it! I would like to show all the types of projects listed above.

Here's my speech:
One person can do a lot. Steve Jobs reinvented the way we listen to music. Nicola Tesla saw our future for electricity. One person can change a lot on Scratch to. One example is a curator. Curators select projects that are unknown to the scratch community and let everybody have a taste of it. When I think of Scratch, I think that it's a way to show your creativity to the rest of the world. You can't do that if no one views them.
If I become curator: I would curate 3 projects every 2 days, so that people don't get upset at other people's projects pushing them off the front page. I can also curate more projects this way, so everybody can get to see almost every genre of projects.
Here are the types of projects I would curate:
Funny projects
Addicting Games
Helpful Tutorials
RPGs
Plain Awesome projects
Simulators
and much more!
Projects I won't curate:
Violent projects
disrespectful projects
Projects made to make fun of people
These projects all have to be under 50 views or 10 love its.
An example of I project I would curate is How to Not Run From a Boulder by picklerok.
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/picklerok/2642344
Hope I become Curator and Scratch On!

Second attempt.
I would really like to be curator. Why? Well, I'd like to get unknown users' projects noticed. And it woudn't have to be in English, either. There are some really good projects that are in different languages.
Anyway, it's unfair to me that well known users will get hundreds or thousands of views while someone with a really good project they worked a long time on get's 1-10 views.
Examples of projects I would feature as curator would be in my gallery. Some of tem include:
Symmetrical Paint by MaPau. A very well made and interesting project. No glitches. Here's the link:
Symmetrical Paint
Enchanted by bieberfever13. Well done, obviously a lot of work was put into it, and an overall great project;
Enchanted
Rock, Rock, Rock by ninjarebel. Well made, educational, and fun to play;
Rock, Rock, Rock!
Other projects I would curate can be about anything. The would most likely be from either my Projects Without Many Views Gallery / Hall of Fame. They wouldn't necessarily have to be in English; I have some really good projects in the gallery that are in other languages.
I hope you take me under consideration. These are very good projects, and I think the creaters would love to see their projects featured as well.

Well, I guess I'll give this a go:
I'd like to become a Scratch curator. I've been on Scratch for around two years, and I've seen several different kinds of projects over that time. This has helped me find out what type of projects really appeal to me. These include:
• OS (operating sytem) projects
• Programming languages made in Scratch
• Mesh games/chat
• Advanced graphics projects (ex. drawing a high-quality picture using only pen and motion commands)
• Typing scripts
• Hashing, encryption/decryption, and compression
• 1s1s, 1s1s1c, and related projects
• Projects utilizing the sound effects from Scratch's "Sound" tab
If I were to become curator,I'd try to cycle between these 7 types of projects each day. For example, on day 1, I might curate an OS, a programming language, and an encryption project. On day 2, I might curate a 1s1s1c, a graphics project, and a mesh project.
Thanks for reading this, and good luck choosing the next curator!

This is my second attempt
So I love games and animation but that's not all that scratch is for (in my opinion). Scratchers have also posted music that they've sung or writin and story's that they wrote. And on scratch one of the things I'm most interested in is the stories. So those are the projects I'd curate. There's actually a lot of writers on scratch and their stories are really awesome! But unfortanatly none of those projects are popular so if those projects were curated it'd get popular and it might get other kids interested in writing too! I think scratch is a great place for writing because you can see stories writen by other kids your age. Yes there is young authors out there and you can read their book but it's not nearly the same. Here you can talk to the author about it! You get to be friends with other kids that like to write! (which is espicially nice for me because I don't know anyone my age that likes to write) Also you get to put backgrounds for the story, pick cool fonts, music to match, and more! All of these things add to the story, you really can then feel like your in the story and your not just looking at a white screen and black print. I started an acount just for writing a couple weeks ago so you can probably tell that I'm really enthousiastic! (sorry if I spelt that wrong) So it'd mean soooo much to me to be a curator and once again this could encourage other scratchers to write, it'd be great for the writers to get publicity for their project, and scratchers that already enjoy reading and writing will be introdused to some new stories!
Thanks you for taking the time to read this!

Hi! I'm laser314 and this is my curator speech.
There are lots of projects on Scratch that have never been noticed. I remember how excited I was when one of my first projects got a comment. If I was elected curator, more New Scratchers' projects would get comments and views, maybe even a loveit or two!
I would curate new projects with not many views or comments. In my opinion, everyone should get on the front page at some point.

Can I be a curator? I really would like to curate high quality strategy and puzzle games, because I've seen some that don't get the attention they deserve.
