Would all of you stop whining about glitches? Yes, Minecraft can be pretty unrefined at times, but it's a vast, limitless game, and a bright star in the greater gaming sky. I think we might be getting a little spoiled, expecting perfection from a team of 17 or so people who have their hands full with three games and numerous conventions.
If 1 is numerous to you then I have nothing to say towards that.
And if Jeb is adding these things into the game like mad then maybe his hands aren't so full and maybe he should work on something important like bug fixes?

I like bats. They add a hint of ambiance to caves, but if the amount of them is just too much.
Witches? If they're an added challenge in swamps, bring it on!
I love the new endermen sounds. The rest of the sounds though, I could care less.
The wither? I hate the idea of spawning it. Sure, its creative, but theres really no point in spawning it. It would be fun to hunt for one, but just to spawn it in and get some stupid cake topper in return is just not my thing.

The Wither drops a Nether Star which you can use to make a Beacon Block and get enchantments or somthing.

Potion effects.

Beacon block seems really OP.
Yeah, you can argue that you need to get the resources, but emeralds are so easy to farm (Look at Generikb's Mindcrack videos) and stacks of emeralds is common.
So potions are pretty much portable beacons now, which is stupid.

So, I got bored and decided to make some Minecraft pixel art for the fun of it. The idea of pixel art I had was to make Latios and Latias with a sky-ish background, and right now I haven't even finished Latios. >.> What I have so far took about an hour, and here it is:

So wait, do I jump in it or what?
An old post from January 2011. That lava pool is where I lost my first ever diamonds. I still have that world, and once managed to return to that lava pool.

I mean they have numerous conventions to attend. And how would you know how long Java coding takes? Also, for all we know, Jeb could STILL be coding new things as we speak.
Like whales. Yeah, that's it, whales. Yeah...

Does making stuff in Java not count as Java?
I'm saying instead of adding new things he should fix the obvious bugs, like getting stuck in a block, or pillaring down, or the lighting errors, or chunk errors, I could go on for a while.

Pillaring down?
Jump and place blocks underneath you to go up, then keep digging the block underneath you to go down, you'll see how it's broken.

The point of beacons is for PvP, at least that makes most sense. That way, you can regenerate, while the server would block others from doing so
