All my text just disappeared on the scratch project creator.

Hi a little while ago I was working away on a project and as I was designing a background the text disappeared.I wondered what happened so I cancelled my background and then all of the text disappeared including the task bar buttons at the top of the screen like 'save' and all of the text on my other sprites.Please help me...
