What is the max of the amount of kb you can have for your user image?

I REALLY want this certain image, but it's too big to upload. Just tell me how big it can be and I'll reduce it.

Somewhere under 90k I think.  I don't recall the exact number but if you get it down to 90k it should go.

its simple, go into paint and use stretch/skew until it is small enough
