Try not repeating your letters, it seems that Minecraft lost the code, you played Classic, then the website went down. I have not played it, but I think that there is a force update button on the login screen, press it and it downloads a new jar.

I'm going to skip everything else, and just go straight to 'move your "saves" folder to your desktop, delete .minecraft, delete minecraft.exe (or .app or whatever your OS requires), and go to minecraft.net and reinstall it. If Minecraft doesn't launch, reinstall Java'.

Sheesh, just download a new .jar.

how would RAM help you recover a new minecraft.jar? *sigh*
Just re-download minecraft.exe, if that doesn't work do tell. Also, please refrain from talking like you are 5, because that can make it hard to understand what you are saying.

Dude.
Force update.
Open Minecraft launcher, click "Options" clicke "Force Update" then click login. It automatically inserts a new jar of the latest full release.

Hey, I know this is kind of off topic, but how can you get the F3 screen to appear on a Mac? I pressed it, and it just zoomed my window out a little.
The same question goes for F9... except, nothing happens. I want my crosshair and inventory to disappear!

Yea! I downloaded myself an extra 8GB of RAM for free from eBay and my computer runs Minecraft like a dream!
Seriously though, you can't "download more RAM", since RAM is a hardware component. If you want more RAM, Crucial has a really easy to use app thing that detects what type of RAM your computer needs, then shows you how much it costs
EDIT: Depending on your system, you may have to allocate extra memory (RAM) to Minecraft. Just google it

^This, why does everyone do it the hard way when there's a button right there to do it?
