Only rules are must have played and beaten the game and one per franchise!
20. Donkey Kong Country
Of all these games, I've played DKC the least, and prefer the second game to the first, but I still love this game, from it being one of the best looking SNES games, smooth gameplay, glorious music, and it was pretty difficult, until I found a trick for infinite lives (I didn't cheat!). Truly one of Rare's best.
19. Pushmo
For a 3DS eShop game that only costs $8, this game is well more worth it's cost. The game is jam-packed with addicting puzzles, and challenging levels later in the game, and it has lots of replay value for $8. Also, the art style is just so colorful, and happy. IGN even gave this game a 9.5. 9.5! I hope that we see more of this franchise in the future.
18. Starfox 64.
I have only played one Starfox game, and it was the N64 one. AND IT WAS AWESOME. There was so much to do, with hidden levels, addicting gameplay, excelling music, and a huge fanbase. I hope to play another game in the series soon.
17. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Of all the Sonic games I've played through and beaten, I had to choose between Sonic CD, Generations on the 3DS, and this. I picked this because this game was fun, lasted a long time, had great replay with the Chao Garden, fun platforming, and NO BIG. Sonic CD is fun, but is short, and pretty overrated. And the 3DS version of Generations feels really toned down compared to the ones on the 360 and PS3.
16. Team Fortress 2.
I downloaded Steam just for this game, and it didn't dissapoint. Each class has thier own "class", plays differently, and has a lot of charm. This game is really funny, plays great, sound great, and has that cartoonish feel that sets it apart from other "dark" and "gritty" shooters. Oh, and I'm working on Half Life 1 and 2.
15. Mario Kart DS
I have played all the Mario Kart games except for Double Dash and Wii, and when choosing one, it came between 64 and DS. I eventually chose, DS because it had better music, DS Download Play, fun tracks (Waluigi Pinball is the best), and is the best to play with friends and people you don't know online.
14. Metroid Fusion
I when I played this game for the first time when I was 9, it confused me. Now that I'm 13, I played through it, and beat it, and had a blast along the way. I like the game because i had fluent controls (Which is why this won over Super Metroid, just barely), excellent story, and this game know how to build some pretty scary atmosphere, especially for a company who's games are mostly aimed for the young ones.
13. Mario Party 2
The reason this ranks high at 13 even though I played this only a few month ago are these: first of, the mini games were fun, and not to many involve button mashing unlike the first one. Also, this game had a lot of boards, which helped make the game feel less stale. lastly, it is fun to play with other people. This is the first video game I got my MOTHER to play. And it is a blast with 4 people. Just make sure there isn't any bloodshed, okay?
12. Portal 2
AW YEAH. This game is addicting! It is longer than the first game, has iconic characters like Wheatley and Cave Johnson, and engrossing story, something that is not normally present in most puzzle games. This game has gained quite a following. I would tell you to check it out, but you probably already have.
11. Kid Icarus Uprising
This game is the main reason you should buy a 3DS, even more than Pushmo. 25 levels, each with a air and land area, music that is good for your ears, great level design, a pretty decent, and at times shocking story, and it can last you a good 50+ hours, and this game is FUNNY. It constantly breaks the fourth wall, with memorable characters to help create the moods the story wants to create along the way. It's better than that garbage on Nick that they call "Fred".
10. Kirby Super Star Ultra
The Ultimate Kirby game! Remake one of the most critically acclaimed Kirby games, add more content, up the graphics and difficulty, and presto! With an updated engine, a sidegame where you play as Meta Knight, some of the hardest bosses in Nintendo history, and you got yourself a game worth buying for the DS.
9. Kingdom Hearts
This is my little brother's favorite game ever. One, the gameplay is fun and inventive, next off, the Disney parts were fun and showed off their movies to be watched, with my favorite world being Atlantica. The bosses were huge and fun, with my favorite being Riku in Hollow Bastion. There is a lot to do, like all 101 Dalmations and Mount Olympus. I haven't played 2 yet, but I hope two.
8. Megaman X4
There once was a time I was obsessed with Megaman, and I have beaten almost every game in the classic and X series. Megaman X4 is my favorite because, it has lots of secrets, catchy music, a dark plot, fun weapons, and since the game can beaten in a few hours, you can easily pick it up and play the game. (Megamans 3, 8, 9, X1 were all close)
7. Chrono Trigger
My favorite RPG from Squaresoft is Final Fantasy IX, but I haven't beaten it yet, but for now, my favoriteone I've beaten is Chrono Trigger, widely considered to be one of the greatest games of all time. Dark plot, check. Time travel, check. Fun characters, check. A battle system that makes you want to level grind? Check. The 2nd best SNES game, beaten only by......
6. Super Mario Allstars + Super Mario World
This is the best Mario platformer I've played. Take the first 3 1/2 Mario games and Super Mario World, give them and updated 16 bit engine, and you got the definitive Mario game. Super Mario Bros 1 is upgraded by letting you go back to a World 5 if you died there instead of making you do everything all over again. It also includes Lost Levels, which is hard. Super Mario Bros 2, despite being a game being Doki Doki Panic with Mario on it, was fun and was a pretty entertaining game. Super Mario Bros 3, despite having the least change done to it, was a 16-bit version of one of the greatest NES games ever. However, some editions of the game include Super Mario World, my personal favorite mainstream Mario. The controls were nice and jumpy, it had color, NINETY SIX exits, and a secret world, in another secret world. Better than the Wii port.
5. Marvel vs Capcom 2
This game is my favorite game made by Capcom. Take 26 iconic characters from the Marvel universe and 26 from the Capcom universe, make them fight each other in custom teams of 3, and you got a unique fighting game. Back when Capcom put effort into games instead of making rushed DLC, they made different stages, characters that didn't feel like clones of each other, and challenge. This is the best fighting game I've played, if you didn't count......
4. Super Smash Bros Brawl
Buy a Wii just for this game. 36 characters, interactable stages, online play, events, fun to play in tournaments, items, Assist trophies, 3rd party characters, a story mode, Classic and All-Star modes, easy-to-understand gameplay, etc. I could go all day into how much is in this game, and how much happiness this game has given me, but there is more I need to cover.
3. Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
My favorite Zelda game is Majora's Mask. The dark tone, massive sidequests, and hard dungeons (and a good water dungeon) makes it better than Ocarina of Time in my opinion. I really liked Wind Waker too, and I played it just as much, and if it wasn't for the Triforce parts.
2. Paper Mario 2
THIS GAME IS SPECTACULAR. This game easily has my favorite battle system in any RPG, with it taking place on a stage, and preforming events that can be made more powerful with the correct button presses, taking what Super Mario RPG did and making it better. The story, while not on par with Super Paper Mario, is still expertly crafted. The game also gets points for having Peach do something Important.
And my favorite game of all time I've beaten is....
1. Pokemon franchise (Emerald, XD, Platinum, HeartGold/SoulSilver, and Black/White to be specific)
If there was one thing that defined my childhood, it is Pokemon. While my first game was Diamond, the one that truly egrossed me in Pokemon was Platinum with it's customizable pokemon, tight controls, easy playability, it started my addiction into my favorite franchise that I still regard as my favorite video games of all time.
So that's my list. Leave a positive or negative comment below and maybe tell me your top 20 games.

I believe the creators of Pushmo, Intelligent Systems, are also the ones who made the Paper Mario series, and a 3D Paper Mario game is coming out pretty soon. I'm looking forward to it, they're a great company.

Darn it, one per franchise.
My top 15, even though I haven't actually beat 15, (I'm more of a casual gamer.) is:
1.) Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Leaf Green, Fire Red, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Gold, Silver, HeartGold, SoulSliver, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. Yes. Now it's just time to beat black and white and black and white 2..
2.) Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, including Red Rescue Team and Explorers of Sky.
3.) Legend Of Zelda Majora's Mask and Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time.
4.) Super Mario 64, and the same game on the DS.
Not a LARGE list, but whatever, I'm content.
Oh wait, I do have ONE more..
5.) Even though it isn't technically beating it, since the Ender Dragon is the only official boss as of now (That's in the actual version, not the snapshot..), I beat the ender dragon, so I pretty much beat Minecraft.
As well as many adventure maps.
Oh, another edit.
6.) I'm pretty sure this is the last one, I've also beaten Starfox 64.
