You know what URL's are, right? It's the stuff in the address bar (where you type scratch.mit.edu). Go to the page you want to link to, and copy the url. Then, use this code:
[url=pastetheurlhere][/url]
Anything inside the URL tag will be a link, even images!

Thanks for the advice, I've been wondering how to do this for a while is this only available for your scratch page or can you do this with outside projects such as beta games or blogs?

You can do this on other forums in your signature as long as they support BBCode, but I don't think you can with beta games/projects. You can do it on blogs if the blog supports HTML code.

Put that in your sig, and it will come out as a link. This;
[url=scratch.mit.edu][img]http://i50.tinypic.com/vd1ggi.png[/img][/url]
produces this.
Put it in your sig, when you edit it, put it in there.
