Scratch Top 10s

Ever wanted to know which of your projects was the best?
Ever saw one of those gaming countdowns and wondered what it would be like in Scratch?
Ever wanted to save the world from evil monsters, aliens and other things while being the coolest thing alive?

Well I can help with all of those, especially the last one (sarcasm)!

Basically, how it works is:
1) You post a reply to this thread with a request
2) You decide the rules for the list (eg. if you want it to be a ______'s Top 10 Animations because you want to be judged on those only)
3) I make a Top 10 list with (text) commentary like those gaming top 10 people

Rules:
1) Can't be negative (except for me)
2) Only 5 requests for person every 3 months
3) No insulting other scratchers because I said they were good
(eg. Me: I think [project] is [person's] best project ever
Troll:naah that one sucks
Me: *Reports message*)
4) Make sure you save the world from evil monsters, aliens and other things while being the coolest thing alive (  tongue  I used the same joke twice)

Re: Scratch Top 10s

Well, if I'm going to go through all the effort to start the thread I may as well give you an example.

Top 10 Projects I'm Most Proud Of Making

Intro:
Since I first joined scratch, I've came a long way. I mean it's pretty amazing that I went from this arrow jump (on my old account blrblr) to Discover 2.
While there are projects I'm proud of and projects I'm not, today we're going to count down the best of the best.

The only rule for this list is that is has to be on my current account, so no beta tests or extremely old games. Now without further ado, let's begin...

#10: Bric the Warrior 2

http://i47.tinypic.com/245yiyv.jpg

While this may have been a sequel to a game that is a bit meh... , Bric 2 was a completely different game! Going from shooting bricks at spiders and stickmen to a game where you have to figure out how to move the mouse in order to fight the enemy, Bric 2 was just... more fun... when you look at the scripts anyway. But the real reason this game is on this list is that I managed to create the game almost completely out of backgrounds!! Yeah, you ever see those animations where it's just made out of back grounds and lasts 5 seconds. Well, I made an entire game out of that!!!

#9: Elements Tower Defense

http://i50.tinypic.com/5yrxqr.gif

This was an AWESOME concept! Taking two of the biggest things in Scratch at the time (Elementa RPG and Boxhead Tower Defense) and combining them into one? GENIUS!! This is a really fun game, but the thing that keeps it so low is it's glitches, you (unfortunately) can click on buttons after you've clicked play, which is a major annoyance when placing towers, and the fact that most of the towers are copy-pastings of each other. But this is still a great experience and is relly enjoyable. (Note: Glitches may be fixed in the future)

#8: Shape Land 2: Underground Mission

http://i48.tinypic.com/1zlriie.gif

This is probably a shocker to everyone who has played the game. People who like it are probably wondering why it's #8 and not #1-3 and people who don't like it are wondering why it's on the list in the first place. Well it's simple. I like the game, but think it's too simple. I am proud of the character select as it had hardly been done on scratch at all at the time (which is what probably made Tiger Run 2 so popular) and the end cutscene, but these are so simple changes that would be insignificant in say, flash or something. So that's why it's on the list, but only at #8.

#7: Orb Quest

http://i48.tinypic.com/64qq7l.gif

OH NOEZ ANOTHER UNEXPECTED ENTRY. Wait a sec, no-one played this game! (thinking: come to think of it, no-one plays any of my games  yikes ) Anyway, it may just look like a stupid " don't touch the walls" game at first, but when you get into it Orb Quest has bosses, challenge, and most importantly, the ability to play as other orbs! With different abilities!! Oh yeah, and it has 40 levels... if anyone cares enough to play that far...

#6: Discover

http://i45.tinypic.com/z8sjo.gif

A point-and-click game? on scratch? Don't we have enough of those?!? Well, yes, we do have many old (but great) point and clcik games, but this one, isn't an escape the room game, you enter houses, talk to people, collect items (like that's new) etc. Honestly, it's hard to praise this game now that the sequel is out. But, it's still really great! And spaking of that sequel...

#5: Discover Part 2

http://i48.tinypic.com/i73ker.gif

This game has so much charm!! It has an even longer play time than the first game. Tons of puzzles that were actually hard to solve, and it's a happy point-and-click game. This may just be another escape the room game, but it's got characters to interact with, cool jokes that aren't as overly elaborate as the first game, and this my just be my nerdem, but I actually found it fun to replay this game over and over again just because of the game's overall feel.

#4: Minigame Mania

http://i49.tinypic.com/6rhuol.gif

Probably my most (or second-most) addicting game yet, Minigame Mania was everything ponocchio's version was and more, it had ramakes of his old minigames, plus levels which gave the games more of an objective, plus a point system for EVERY minigame, minus those minigames where you can just hold down a button and win the game, plus a total score counter, equal RECIPE FOR ADDICTION AND FUN!! And what's that BobbyF? You say the game is decent DECENT? DECENT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Oh who cares, it's my only comment.

Before we get to the top 3, let's take a look at an honourable mention

#11: Tap Tap Scratch 2

http://i46.tinypic.com/2dt417r.gif

OOooh, the project that everyone liked when it first came out doesn't make it to the Top 10  sad  The game had plenty of things going for it, a wide variety of songs, five difficulty settings,a scoring system. But the problem is that most of the game is completely random. The notes come in random order, not in time with the music, which pretty much destroys the whole concept, but the final nail in the coffin is that it only took 150 minutes to make. Therefore, it's still a fun games to play from time to time, but just BARELY doesn't make it to the top 10.

Now, back to the Top 3

#3: Rocko's Adventure

http://i45.tinypic.com/2copjwi.gif

You were all expecting it eventually, so here it is, my first wall-sensing platformer, at #3. Complete with bosses, tough puzzles and the start of my new character! Who will have another game... eventually... probably not for a long time... but sometime none the less... The thing that really captured tthis game for me, is that it's hard, but still fun. And it has that awesome energy ball that turns rocko into super rocko. The game has an awesome feeling of originality and is the basis for most of my platformers from the day it was released.

#2: Roller Sphere

http://i47.tinypic.com/25ozbs9.gif

Five words: One sprite two script AWESOMENESS!!! I could go on and on and on about why I love this game, but I know you're waiting to see what's #1 so here it is.

But before we get to that, here's a recap
#11: Tap Tap Scratch 2
#10: Bric the Warrior 2
#9: Elements TD
#8: Shape Land 2
#7: Orb Quest
#6: Discover
#5: Discover 2
#4: Minigame Mania
#3: Rocko's Adventure
#2: Roller Sphere

And now here it is...

#1: Made to Be Broken: Official Single

TROLLING FTW YOU FANBOYS TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Yeah I'm just kidding

REAL #1: Blobules 2

http://i45.tinypic.com/nh1dox.gif

I got the front page? Sweet! Blobules 2 is the official game I'm most proud of creating because I always saw remixing as one of the most pointless things ever, yet I tried and it's awesome!! I added everything AC wanted to add and more, and it sure payed off. So people of scratch, remix, and remix good. I leave you with two words: Thanks angeliccharizard! Or is that 3 words?
