Team Aqua IS a real team from Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.

The hydra isn't reputable for living in the sea. It is reputable for its ability to grow its heads back.

And to Game, sure, why not, let's use Sobek!

That makes... Team Sobek and Team Terra.

Those are very nice. I like it.

So, next agenda.

What'll it be? Map design?

I say map design is probably a good call right now. I can try to see if I can splice some maps to see if I can make the 2 Island things we were talking about a few pages back. But, you guys know that maps will take a while, according the the type of scroller we run, we may have to make quite a bit.

Making graphics is waaay easier than programming, at least, it is for me, which is why I find popopobob so spectacular in what he does.

...Once again, I'm back, apologizing.  Homework must hate my guts, and I have the Science Fair coming up, which I'm already a report behind on.  After many pondering (yes, for once I used that word) thoughts, I have decided to take the ultimate sacrifice, the thing that I'll sell my soul to, and the thing that is scarier that two tacos with no meat.......
I shall do the Clumping
Wii said he would touch up every sprite to look the same style, but he had to leave this collab, so we need another Touch-up person for the sprites.  As soon as that's done, so will the clumping......
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to say goodbye to my soul.

Alrighty. Yet another list of thingamajigs to sort through, which only I can sort for I am the leader of this collab, after maxdoss resigned.

So, I see your point there Zang.

I totally agree with you in every aspect popopobob.

Pokedirector, I am so proud of you, I feel I need to reward you in some way... so... here.

My gratitude.

And to bey, well, let's just say that the UK doesn't run those sorts of contests (well, in my school at least).  tongue

Seriously, I felt washed of my worries when you mentioned doing the clumping pokedirector. I was really flooded with happiness and bliss.

OK, I'll stop with references to the sea and Blissey.

Because it really does wave us off our work.

Team Aqua will not have a comeback, as that would question the originality of the game.

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

:')

I'd like to thank ma, pa, and Gramps, even though you're dead. Y'all helped me get this far. I can't thank you enough.

OK, before we get off-topic, let's get some work done.

Map design. I've only seen baku's very early version of it, and it isn't done up to Pokemon standards.

Let's ge- wait a sec.

Let's stop. Just for a bit. To let pokedirector finish the clumping...

and recover his soul at Soul Land.

They sell lost souls there. You might find your own.

I've decided now that the P in The1UP means Pun. I love them too much.

So it's not a 1UP post without a pun!

Of course, it must be on-topic. You'll be sunk down with confusion if it weren't.

Hey, it's a Land and Sea Version collab we're doing. It's gotta be expected, I mean, your expectations would be that of stone and it needs to be cleansed to The1UP standards.

I can't get enough. I'm a bottomless pit of puns...

Hey, a source for good (which by now, you know means horrible) puns! >:3

For people like us, a horrible pun is a good pun. In fact, yours are the punniest I've sean in a long time!  OK, now I'm just going overboard with these. I just can't stop, I'm on a roll! Ok, Pun-UP, now we're even.

Uh oh. I have some competition. This is going to be a stormy ride.

I cannot fail to these tiddlers of puns!

I will deliver a whale of a pun! My volcanic temper is unmatched! Let us tango people! (And in reference to the Sky Version we may or may not be doing...)

My cyclonic path of puns shall knock you avast!

I'm losing my whitewashed gleam.

My explosive puns are getting less and less powerful.

Gah...

Just kidding, suckerfishes!

OK, I had to. You know me not to give up on puns. I'm just too good with them. >:3

I'm so jealous of Penny...

She's rich. And so is her brother Bill.

I had to top it off with one of my horrible puns of the month. I just had to.

OK, so, do you want someone to start on making the maps? We probably will need the whole team to eventually, since most of them will probably be custom made.

Yes. That's a great idea.

Alright, so, we'll need a good description of the map before we start designing (no, we design with no guideline XD).

Baku, can you work up a description? I would, but I have homework to do.

And Game can help if he has the time.

Let's go with the map. (that's self encouragement)
most of this will probably be put by editing.

OK, First, we will need about 10-12 cities some with roles:
hometown(1)
gym town(8)
big town(1)

Also, some towns will have things in them:
power plant/thingy(1)
department store(1)
I cant think of the last thingy...(0)

There will also be some event zones:
Enemy HQ(# of teams)
Special event island(as many as needed)
mountain range(1-2)
Legendary Pokemon catching zones[(mini category)
game theme legendary(1)
main trio(3)
my septuplet(7)
]
Elite 4/champion(1)
victory road(1)

That's all for this first bout.
quote and edit all you like.

Well, clumping has been going good, I've been getting about 45 minutes each day to work on it. And for those special buildings like power plants, I may have some more ideas. If I do remember correctly, Africa has the world's deepest mine. We could have something to do with that. Maybe we could even tie a legendary to the area, like if we made that mine area explorable, then maybe there could be a boulder blocking a cave. After defeating the Elite Four, the cave leads to 3 chambers, each one leads to a legendary, making a trio. The Legendary Trio could be based off Fossilized Dinosaurs. I remember us talking about some Dinosaur trio a bit back. There would be a Water/Ground Pterodactyl, a Fire/Ground T-Rex, and a Grass/Ground Ankylosaurus?  Tell me what you guys think.

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

Well, I had my second bout typed up but something happened and it all got deleted.
Well, I still have this:
1|normal|maze
2|
3|
4|
5|
6|
7|
E1|
E2|
E3|
E4|
C|

What this is is a chart of gyms and elite 4 and the champion. basically, you put the type in the second column and gym in the third. My example is a normal type first gym that is a maze. quote this an do your own.

Ho ho, oaright then (you'd get it if you spoke with a British accent. Try it).

I'm impressed with the progress Blue, you're doing a great job.

And to baku, those are some great ideas. I'm liking the boost of work in this.

Unfortunately, due to certain complications, I have to boost morale. So I have to get you out of my dirty factory and let you work "freely."

Let's sing a song then.

Oranges and Lemons, say the bells of St. Clements,
You owe me five farthings, say the bells of St. Martins,
When will you pay me? say the bells of St. Bailey.
When I grow rich, say the bells of Shoreditch.
When will the be? say the bells of Stepney.
I'm sure I don't know, says the great bell at Bow.
Here comes a candle to light you to bed.
Last line removed because it's a little rude.

An old song from Edwardian England. You'd know it if you read Private Peaceful.

Never heard of it :P
