You're allowing imgur? Bad idea. Redditors use imgur, if that's any warning.
Uh, how's that any sort of warning?

Ah, k9. A pain in the neck! But it's for safety, so I won't argue about it just yet...

Does this REALLY help? I mean people could just make an account on these sites (except me because I'm not allowed) then upload pictures that got it banned in the first place?
Also, what about the people (like me) who aren't allowed to create accounts on random websites.Yes, because the sites they chose have policies that mean you can not upload inappropriate images there.
Yes. All except imgur.
Could mag.racked.eu be whitelisted? Lots of people use it, and I find it such a pain to have to upload all my achievements to Tinypic after making them.

Imgur has about 20 F-bombs on the front page.

Almost everything I see that's marked NSFW (explicit) is hosted on imgur.

Could iaza.com be added?
it's good for making animated gifs and stuff

Sort of wish speedtest.net and other "generator" sites like atomsmasher should be allowed so we don't have to upload them using photobucket, imgur, tinypic etc

If you post the image from iaza and put it on imgur, photobucket, or tinypic, it would probably work.

It's also one of the most progressive image hosting sites without too strict guidelines

Just because a site has inappopriate pictures doesn't mean it shouldn't be used for images on the forum. It means you should stay away.

I read the gallery almost everyday but to each their own.
Anyway, you don't have to see the gallery from the VERY frontpage so simply our purposes (uploading) aren't a problem.
But if you look at the blog (language in comments, won't link), they are switching to a system that makes the frontpage the entire gallery. (And, the simplest way to upload will be directly to the gallery where your project gets voted on, so we would end up spamming the gallery)

The gallery was already on the front page…

I would like to request for github to be allowed on the allowed picture hosting sites.
I don't like the others, such as imgur and some others. Anyway, I'm going to use github a lot for most of the stuff I do so it's helpful if github is allowed for images. I just tried posting a BYOB block using a raw github link to find out it's blocked.. I had to post it in [url]tags..

You can just copy the URL and upload it on one of those sites...

jvvg, I don't like the other sites. It's because they have innapropriate images like "HEY, THIS SNOW IS LIKE [redacted]" etc. It's just pointless, so I use sites where it's very unlikley to find innapropriate images.
