List of Project Ideas for Programmer's Block

Are you in one of those moments, where you just can't think of any good ideas? Are you not, and just want to see some cool project ideas? Well I'm forming a list here of many, many project ideas, and I hope you can make something out of one. And the list is growing! Anyone here can post more ideas that will be added to the list.

Note: None of the ideas here require credit, so if you have an idea that you feel is very much yours, and you don't want anyone taking credit, then don't post it.

The List:
Make a project that has a "mini-scratch" inside of it that lets you program in the project.

Or a project explaining velocity movement, something most new Scratchers have trouble understanding

Or you could make a complicated RPG.

You could make an RPG platformer, that requires you to travel from village to village mending relationships, fixing people's things, giving advice, doing chores for people and other nice things.

You could make a fun game about a leaf who goes on an adventure avoiding toxic areas, and while it is fun and silly, it sends out an important environmental message too.

A little girl's brother get's kidnapped, and you can choose to either be the girl, who goes to an evil prison and get's her brother out, or you could play the boy, who tries to escape prison. The boy would have more of a puzzle-theme, and the girl would have an action-adventure-theme.

A virtual game of battle ship, but with different themes including, normal, realistic, cartoony, Scratch,  and pirate.

A man visits a volcano on his home-made helicopter, and falls into it, having to get all the way up quickly, before the lava catches up to him.

A top-down adventure game similar to The Legend Of Zelda, where you play a boy with a sword, and upgradeable items.

A game, where the player has to interpret the story line.

An OS that has to be downloaded. You could then make more projects that add-on to the OS, like DLC!

A platformer-esque game where you have wings, and to make gameplay more interesting, you have to land slowly, otherwise the impact kills you.

A game similar to the one above, but with a jet-pack that can over-heat, and can run out of fuel, with upgrades later in the game that fix these problems.

A side-scroller that also has levels.

A generic platformer with no storyline, that focuses harshly on smooth gameplay and level design.

A game similar to Pocket God, with a village of little people that you have complete control over.

An apocalyptic zombie game, where the tables are turned, and you play the Zombie! You try to avoid being shot, and try to get close enough to bite the humans.

A detailed game that lets you control the weather with good graphics and MANY options.

A game that uses auto-jump, similar to the 3D Zelda games, only in a platformer, and all you have to defend yourself is a shield.

A game where you have to infiltrate a castle and kidnap someone who is trying to kidnap a princess, where you have to sneak by the guards and maybe cameras? Without getting caught. Maybe even spice it up a little by adding a mode where you're timed.

A game where the protagonist is tiny, and has to navigate through someone's house. Beds could be large boss battle arenas, the sink would be like a pond or lake, the freezer would be a tundra-esque level, you have to jump over and climb up books on a book case, etc.

A game where you are gigantic, and can traverse the universe easily, avoiding touching the hot suns.

An RPG with characters who are all as giant as the idea above.

A game where you play aliens who try to abduct people, and take over earth.

A sequel to the game above where the humans, with lesser technology try to take over  an alien planet.

Make your OWN programming language IN Scratch that is text-based.

a game where you go from village to village as a healer who had to save people, give advise, gather items, and do good deeds.

Re: List of Project Ideas for Programmer's Block

Maybe you should start a little smaller. Just using the blocks but only having one sprite. There might be people who have solutions in the "Help With Scripts" section, so why not make a topic there?

Re: List of Project Ideas for Programmer's Block

Congrats HeyHeyBoom! Which one do you plan on doing?

This is my 3180th post. I guess that's as cool as like, 20 or something because it's divisible by ten.

I might do the wings one. I figured out how to make smooth dropping in Scratch a time ago. (I posted a game I made with it—Air.) Hope I can do it! If I can't, I'll do the programming-language-dealie.

Herp derp hidden text.
