Here's the long article I wrote. It took about half and hour. Please vet it first, chongyian, then JH1010 can add it in once you feel that the article is fine.

School. Not the best a topic to talk about, is it?

This issue's main topic will be on school and examinations. Why do we need it? It's all in the article.

Is school necessary?

Everyone complains about that. Well, most, if not all. But of course, school is about education. Without it, what can we do? Almost nothing. Yes.

So do you like examinations then? What is the point of them?

Everyone would definitely need exams to gauge how much you have learnt in school. You might feel stressed, or nervous, when exams are just round the corner. Especially before major examinations. You may also have a feeling you would do badly. Or the opposite. But feeling the latter would make you overconfident. You may then go complacent.

Even if you do well, but are complacent, it does not make much of a difference. You may end up neglecting school work, and worst of all, your grades may take a  plunge.

If you hate school, you should try not to detest it as much. Because at the end of the day, you would still benefit from what you learn at school. And exams too.
