A google chrome Web App!
I finally figured out how to create and publish a chrome web app!! check it out!
Use this topic to discuss creating Google Chrome Web Apps, and publishing them. I'm happy to help people figure out how to do it, because I struggled for quite some time before finally figuring it out!!

try installing any other app, and clicking on it. Where does it take you? All it does is link to a website. It's also running as a background page, to keep the app running. It's just a test version. I'm willing to help anyone interested in creating their own app. I can publish it for them as well.

again, thats what all of them are, except for themes, and extensions. The Apps, are meant to be bookmarks.

Wrong. It can do soooooooooooo much more. Take AdBlock for example.
that's an extension.
but the web apps are supposed to either
A) link to a web app (orly?) but the app is the website itsself and actually does things, not just a web page. like google docs is a web app, but scratch is not. scratch 2.0 might be though.
B) downloads files to be used offline, such as airmech.

get airmech from the App Store. it actually is more than a website. there are a few others like this.

How to create even simpler advanced google chrome web apps and publish for free
Go to Google Drive, the future of Google Docs, and make a project using Google Apps Script. Then publish it to chrome web store.
