Don't be! At first I was scared to admit I liked it cause I thought the humor would be too 'inappropriate' or something, but after my mom saw the first few episodes she got hooked herself and now we both watch the new episodes together(mainly)!
   Just show your parents the first 2 or 3 episodes if you can and see if they like it. If they don't, then just keep liking it. You don't have to change your interests because other people don't agree with them.

She heard of it before, i told her the plot, and she seemed interested.

Yeah, my dad watches it with me sometimes.

Anyways, I loved the ending part of "Fight Fighters". I'm pretty sure it was a SMB2 reference:
Mabel=Mario
Stan=Luigi ("I'm slower, but I JUMP HIGHER")
Dipper=Toad?
Wendy=Peach

Yeah! Than Soos was pacman

But,, the Tron refrence was SO easy to figure out.

Me and my brother keep using the BLARG! Super silly string thing from double dipper all the time and my moms like "NO MORE ADVENTURE TIME >:O" "Actually, mom... its gravity falls." And then last night when I wanted to watch fight fighters she was like "9:30? OH NO YOU DIDNT!"
