Rocket Support, The collaboration supporter.

http://i45.tinypic.com/2v34yms.png

Announcements:
The Bit Company, hiring!
The Bit Company is in great need of members, if you are looking to join a collab please consider them! for more info and to sign up click here!

Support staff needed!
We are looking for artists and programmers to help our collabs! See the support staff section below for more info!

About us:
Rocket Support is a collaboration where you sign up your own collaboration for a two-week session with one of our members. In this session our member will give you helpful advice, advertising, help with your projects from our support team, and two progress reports. A progress report is something our member gives your company that grades you out of 10 in different areas, says what he/she likes about it and gives advise on how you could improve it. Our member will advertise you in his/her signature and put a link to you in the notes of one or more of his/her projects. All you have to do to sign up your collaboration is say you would like a session with us and put a link to your collaboration.

History:
Rocket Support was a collaboration started by Meapinator101 some time in June called 'Rocket Investments'. A user named XenoK joined and those two were the 'RI Team'. Rocket Investments would take the collabs that signed up, advertise them and give them progress reports once a week. There were no sessions. Later, 'Rocket Productions' was started and was a normal collaboration where anyone could join and make games. Yoshiboy (me) proposed making a 'Rocket Awards' where collaborations could receive awards in different areas. Meapinator101 accepted the idea and brought Yoshiboy in as the third member. Later, berberberber joined, making 4 members in the team. XenoK left, reducing the number to 3, and Meapinator came up with the idea of 'sessions'... Rocket Productions fell, Rocket Awards was discarded, and the three members kept RI alive, mostly. The name was changed to Rocket Support, as it is now. Meapinator101 could not remain active and so he left and made Yoshiboy leader. Humhumgames and sonicfan12p offered to help out, and Rocket Support was remade.

Members:
Meapinaor101- Founder.
Yoshiboy- Leader.

Humhumgames- specialist.
sonicfan12p- specialist.

Ztype- support programmer.

Support Staff:
Our support staff serve as temporary members to help out with projects when you need more members. This idea was proposed by Ztype. There are two open positions, so if you wan't to join the support staff team, please just ask, and your request will be considered. Thanks!

Schedule:
Session 1, September 23-October 6:
Eternity Incurakai- Humhumgames | The Bit Company- sonicfan12p | ???- Yoshiboy

Sign up you collab today!

Please help advertise us by copying this code into your signature:

Try commenting on members' projects. I can help out with that, too, if you want.

Re: Rocket Support, The collaboration supporter.

Okay, thanks for coming guys! Before we start the sessions, we need to do your orientation. The progress reports need to start with a 'Hi' sentence like "Greetings Coolcollab!" or "Hello Gamer Studios!" and then give a personal message about what you think of that collab and stuff like that. Don't worry, you don't have to sound like a dull serious official person or whatever, just be you. It helps, trust me. Then, you need a paragraph about the leader of that collab, what you like about him/her, ways you think he/she could improve leadership wise, and end by scoring him/her out of 10. Then, do another paragraph the same way about their members, and one about their projects, and one about their system and such. Example:

Rocket Specialist wrote:

Hello Example Studios!
I'm here with your progress report from Rocket Support. First of all, I want to say that I have watched this collab grow and progress for a long time, and always admired it.
Your leader Username is a very dedicated person. I think he has what it takes to design a collab very good, but I do think he could improve on being more strict. A lot of your members are not very active, so I would suggest having a rule that if a member doesn't post for two weeks straight they will be fired if they have no good excuse. I would give you a 7/10 for leader!  wink
Some of your members are inactive, but those who are active look like they are dedicated and work hard  smile ! The rule I proposed in the previous paragraph would urge members to be more active if they really cared about the collab, so it's a good way to filter out your member list searching for dedicated and hard working members. I'll score you a 8/10 in that part!  big_smile
I think you're game 'example game' was very fun and addicting. Making games like that can ensure that 1, more people will join seeking to take part in the creation of more cool projects like that, and 2, that there will be a crowd waiting to view the next thing you make. I think you should give more objective and story to your games to make them more interesting, that would attract even more people! I'll give you a 9/10 for your projects.
The way you have your collab is built is great, but I think you should not let absolutely everyone who applies join. You should decide based on what kind of people you need, (programmers, artists, sound people, etc.) and how many people you want. I think you should also have big fixers that play the finished game and find glitches and fixes them, otherwise you have an amazing structure. 9/10!!

Leader- 7/10
Members- 8/10
Projects- 9/10
Structure- 9/10
Overall: 33/40

You're doing great!
Scratch on and Keep on flying!

Also, at the start of each session you need to give the collab a message about you and what time you are usually online. Tell them that if they want, we can make them a signature/logo of any size and to just ask on our thread for one... Give helpfully advice to them whenever possible, advertise them in your signature, and put a link to them In one or more of you projects in the notes.  Thanks!

Alrighty, Bit Company, we will try to help you to the extent of our ability. Humhumgames and sonicfan12p, we will start the sessions after we get the bit company some more people. Right now we need to focus on helping them get more members. I am going to post an image we can use to advertise them in our signatures that will tell people that members are needed.

well, I suggested that they should add "Members Needed" to their title, and they did, and since then 3 people have joined, so I think all we need to do is the sits for now. My comp crashed, so can you download the bit company's sig and write "Now Hiring! Click here!" in handwriting and upload it to put in our sigs?

It's there. Your font and color is better, but the overall sig is cut off.
