Your music is wonderful (much better than mine as I can't write melodies) but I see you have trouble with different styles.

The best thing to do is just experiment, and listen to styles of music you want to copy.
From that try to pick out different features unique to that style.

I'll try to give you an example if I could find the time to compose a new song. But I'm having trouble finding time D:

I've already composed a song that fits your criteria, I can just make it 8-bit instead of orchestral and It'll be ready!

The electronic instruments on my software aren't very good at all, andrewjcole. I'll try my best to make it sound 8-bit, but the program I use is better for orchestra, brass, and keyboards.

I have not been able to start because I'm busy, and writing music takes a long time. Also, my software doesn't have any good 8-bit instruments. I'll try my hardest and post the song later today.

I write my music with a software called musescore, and then import a midi into synesthesiagame and record it with audacity to remaster it.

Btw, the second question isnt yes/no. It's like saying do you want chips or candy? Yes.
You should fix it to get the thing you want
