The Scratch book-lover's recommended book list!

So, when I get home in a few min, I'll work on some stuff in Paint.NET and make a Wix or whatever (I'm working on learning code) to extend it if y'all want.

Post the book name, author, genre [please specify if it's a fantasy (or whatever it is) instead of just "fiction". Same goes for nonfiction], maturity rating ("I recommend this for people 12+ because of language"), and (if you can find it), an average price. If it's an ebook, please post a link to where you can get it (BN store, Amazon, etc.)

I understand it says "bookshelf-preview" on it but it's no big deal

Re: The Scratch book-lover's recommended book list!

Fiction
As fiction has many many types, I'm making it just one shelf.

As you recommend books I will add them onto the "bookshelf"

What's on the shelves?
Harry Potter, fantasy, for all ages, $12-15 a book, recommended by soupoftomato
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galazy, sci-fi parody, 12+ for minor inappropriate humor, recommended by soupoftomato
The Dangerous Days of Daniel X, sci-fi, James Patterson

It's to allow her to use the first posts in a topic as part of the topic. She'll add stuff later.

*ahem*

Ender's Game

All science fiction, all one series (The Ender Quartet).

Ages: 13+, for violence (mainly in the first book), some language, heavy and mature themes.

Re: The Scratch book-lover's recommended book list!

Also, Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy can be bought in one set for $20 paperback ($12 ebook)

(And Harry Potter is available in a DRM-fre ebook format too)
