Belive in aliens?
I know I do
I'm talking about REAL aliens. Not stupid martians. Aliens. UFOs. The whole shadoodle.
Discuss them.

This doesn't belong here.
How do you watch, read, or play aliens?

you can read about aliens, watch programs about them... Maybe there are some aliens out there, but we won't ever meet them I think, because if they would be any close we would know them by now. Maybe they're in other galaxies...

Yes.

I do. And I also think that just because we haven't found any evidence doesn't mean they don't exist. From the stories I've read, they are way ahead in technology.

Yeah, I sorta believe in them.

Like
I don't think UFOs /are/ real aliens.
Real aliens are distances away that we couldn't approach at lightspeed in a single lifetime.
Because if the universe is infinite, they are there somewhere right. And then like, even a piece of bacteria on Mars or something is alien and completely amazing.

The Universe isn't infinite, though.

It's constantly expanding, but not infinite. Also, aliens usually mean intelligent life forms. Bacteria fossils and things have already been found on meteorites and stuff. Intelligent life is very unlikely though. I once watched a documentary that pretty much proves that there cannot be intelligent life anywhere in our galaxy. It said that they could exist on other galaxies, we don't have enough information to know for sure, but definitely not on our galaxy.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong there. I watched a programme which was talking about that, and it said that they had recently discovered meteorites which had certain proteins (or it might have just been amino acids) on it. And since proteins are the building blocks of cells, there could in theory be a very basic form of life on an asteroid (like a single celled bacteria), but the proteins would have to somehow build themselves into one, and they haven't found any evidence of that yet.

I don't believe in evolution either, neither in aliens
And thanks for pointing that out, I didn't realise

By the way, do you remember what the name of that documentary was? I think I might have watched it as well, but I don't know if it was the same one.

It's obvious that we're not the only form of life in existence, they're probably not as advanced as us, but they could be.

Ah yes, that's the one! That was a brilliant documentary! Thanks for reminding me what it's called.
