Welcome to the spotlight for the 3rd issue of The Scratch Chatter! This week, our featured Scratcher will be.. *Drum roll*...Angelica101! So this contains the interview with her. And what is usually the first question we ask?
Of course, it is: How long have you been on scratch? And her answer? 11 months and about 3 weeks. She has been using Scratch since October last year, which is quite a long time compared to most of us. She says she started Scratch when her friend showed her the Scratch website, although she started using the program sometime in Year 2010.
Well, everyone has their favourites, and Angelica's favourite project happens to be "Scourge is Numb" by Skystar! She also added that her favourite Scratch Block is the "Play sound until done" block.
She is also in a collaboration, and said," I'm doing a collab with Nicofreak to the song 50 ways to say goodbye by Train. It's on the front page, but it's Maki-Tak's addition."
When asked " What do you think of Scratch 2.0?", she remarked," EPICALSTARCLANCHEETONESS :DDDD so excited!"
Although Angelica has posted a lot of cat themed projects, she hates cats in reality and has no cats as pets. She also added that she was just good at drawing them.
She used to have a request shop, but closed it down. But she still has a ton of art requests on the main site. Lastly, she has a alternative account called "Adderflame"
Thanks to Angelica101 for this wonderful interview and with this, THE END!

1) How long have you been on scratch?
2) when did you start?
3) How did you start scratch?
4) What is your favorite project?(it can be any)
5) What scratchblock do you like using the most?
6) Are you in any collabs?if yes then which ones
7) What do you think of scratch2.0?
8) Do you have any other accounts on scratch?
9) I see that you do alot of "test" projects. do you eventualy use these tests in other projects?
10) more questions may come later.
1) I have been on Scratch for about four and a half years.
2) I started Scratch at the end of spring in 2008.
3) I really loved playing Sonic, Mario, and Legend of Zelda games when I was younger, (and now I mostly can only still enjoy Zelda) and I wanted to know how to make games like them, and I talked to my technology teacher at my school. She said to try going to scratch.mit.edu, and see if I can learn anything here. And I'd say I did. A lot.
4) I'm not sure what you mean by this question. My favorite project that someone else has made, or my favorite of my own projects? If it's someone else, probably CatBOT. It's an amazing simulation. If it's mine, I'd have to say Everything Will Be Okay which is a part of the "I'm So Proud of You" series. Unfortunately due to axis problems, it doesn't work online.
5) I don't know. All of them, I guess. There's none in particular I like the most. I think the sound blocks are extremely underrated, and people don't seem to make much use of them. I wish I could make better music with them, and I wish other people could use them more.
6) I tried and epically failed running a collab called "Oriole" a few weeks back. If you search it on the forums you might find it. I began to go through some troubles, though, so I stopped posting on it and I think the other two people in it just forgot about it. But to answer the question directly: No. I am not in any collabs currently.
7) I am excited for the release of Scratch 2.0, even though I will really miss the old look of the site, because I did grow up with it. The only complaint I have is the ugly color of the "Triggers/Events" blocks. It's really unattractive, and I wish they could just put them back in "control" and save the space for an all-new category. I guess the Scratch Team made that decision for a reason though, and I should trust them.
8) I do have henleyTest, and henleyWeb. I don't use henleyWeb often. That one is for when I need to modify projects before putting them on my website... I don't need to do that very often. And henleyTest is useless now, because I end up putting so many tests on my main account. And I can't say truthfully that I don't have any secret identities on Scratch.
9) Ah, I was expecting this question. Yes, I have MANY tests and demos, but it seems like none of them ever get used. They actually DO. While I very rarely end up completing the project, I use sprites and programming from them in different projects. The best example is movement engines. I have been very indecisive with them, and only recently built a new one from the ground up that works the best. I also altered an old sprite (from Phlorple DEMO, if you care) to create the main character sprites / NPCs in my I'm So Proud of You series, which consists of I'm So Proud of You parts 1 and 2, Everything Will Be Okay, and the one I'm currently working on with a demo out already, It's Getting Late.
TL;DR: I reuse old sprites and programming in newer games a lot more often than I actually complete or add on to the tests and demos.
10) I would be happy to answer more questions.
