What is the best way to get Fireworks on Scratch. Preferably more than one kind of firework. Any kind accepted.

I've never tried to make fireworks, but you could make a costume with a bunch of colored dots that almost fills the screen. To make the fireworks explode, start them at size 10% and increase their size rapidly. At the same time try setting color effect randomly and perhaps brightness as well. The gunshot instrument with a low note and a long duration can make the explosion sound. You could have the fireworks drift downward and lower the brightness when they are done.

I did a simple fireworks project with this idea, suitable for remixing:

It works fine in squeak, but the java "gunshot" does not make a decent boom, and the java implementation is a bit slow for multiple fireworks at once.

Nice fireworks, kevin_karplus!
For more approaches, try using the search function, it will bring up a bunch of projects with different implementations of fireworks. Here's one I like (press q for the grand finale)

I created a new gallery "fireworks" and put 18 of the fireworks projects in it.
Please create new ones and add to the explosive fun!
