The Scratch Team said it was causing to much extra ballast for the servers, it will certainly come back. smile At least I hope so...

It's more object-oriented than previous versions, so you could write a class like Projects
with some methods like getNewest($source), getRemixed(), getLoved(), getViewed(). The getNewest($source[,$user]) would have a parameter which would define the source of newest projects, like 0 for the newest, 1 for Design Studio, 2 for Featured and 3 for Friends' Recent. Optional parameter $user would define whose friends' recent projects. And some scanning functions... I bet it would be better with regular expressions.
