is the tekkit server up? i just read the main post finding the IP; I entered it into tekkit and it showed up as unavaliable.

I've seen this before.
Go into the launch.bat and increase the numbers in the first line (save a backup just in case)

Which numbers? The reserved memory? That's what it has trouble getting. It worked after I installed Java x64, so the server is up.
