The Great Cycle Race:
This issue, I reviewed The Great Cycle Race, by thevaudevillehouse. This fun little game involves two guys locked in a battle to find out who can cycle 360º in the quickest time. When (or if) you finish, you receive your time in a nifty score window, opposed to using the ugly variables. The score window itself, must have required at least some thought, though looking very simple, as it would be quite hard to program the effect of the numbers scrolling (like they would have in real life on an old scoreboard) as the game is based off of an old carnival game. The graphics could use improvement though I do like the old-fashioned type of graphics, but still could look nicer. The controls are a little bit hard to use, you have to mash the up, right, down and left arrows (in that order) but this is probably because of my keyboard as the arrow keys are really close together. The two player mode works, though I can't fully test it out, being on my own, though it doesn't cause any problems with so many keys being mashed at the same time.
Score: 79% / 8/10 / 4*
This is my idea for overall scoring
5/10 Moderate
6/10 Alright
7/10 Good
8/10 Very Good
9/10 Awesome
10/10 Excellent
(I doubt we will go as low as 5)
Are there specific areas we should score them in?

Welcome to the Scratch project review! This issue, we are going to tell you about The Great Cycle Race, reviewed by GameGuy64. The game was created by thevaudevillehouse. This fun little game involves two guys locked in a battle to find out who can cycle 360 degrees in the shortest time. If you finish, your time will be displayed in a nifty score window, rather than the unattractive default score variables. The score window itself must have received quite some thought, though looking very simple, as it would be very difficult to program the effect of the numbers scrolling like a real-life scoreboard as the game is based off of an old carnival game. Although the old-fashioned graphics was nice as it made the game look 'traditional' in some way. However, it could still use some improvement. Regarding the controls, GameGuy64 says, "The controls are a little bit hard to use, you have to mash the up, right, down and left arrows (in that order) but this is probably because of my keyboard as the arrow keys are really close together."
The two player mode also works, and in overall, it is a excellent game, also because the game still functions properly even though there are many controls being mashed up at the same time.
Rubrics
5/10 Moderate
6/10 Alright
7/10 Good
8/10 Very Good
9/10 Awesome
10/10 Excellent
And the final score by GameGuy64 is... 8/10 ! Congratulations!

Perfect. So, who's going to program the paper? Or just incorporate it into the new TSC paper on its own page?
