This is a topic in dedication of the Paper Mario series. So far, I've completed Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario. Both are very great games. Just recently, about a week or so ago, I was given Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and I nabbed at it quickly, first chance I got. I'm at Chapter Four, so no SPOILERS!!! D:< (Although I already know what's behind the door. Still, just don't.)
UPDATE: I completed TTYD months ago now.
I wonder if Paper Mario: Sticker Star's gonna be any good. Looks great by the trailers.
(For those of you who don't know what the heck I'm blabbering on about, then... uhh... leave, perhaps.)
Some questions for fans:
* What is your favorite game in the series?
* Best storyline?
* Best partner?
* Best villain?

I love Paper Mario, and I'm surprised that there isn't a topic about it yet. About the MLP topic, the old one was deleted for some reason (possibly too large) so we made a replacement topic. However, the original Minecraft is still going FYI.

The first one was the best, third was the second best, and the second was the worst.

Oh yes, I forgot about Minecraft.

I liked the 2nd best, although I couldn't get past it on my own, I had to resort to google.
The best storyline was probably Super Paper Mario's, it was pretty ingenius.
Hmm...best partner, I don't know. I liked most of them.
Best villain, I liked Lord Crump the most, although he wasn't the brightest! Grodus wasn't too smart either...

Dimentio is my favorite villain. Although Super Dimentio wasn't very hard to beat.
As for partners, I like Goombario, Goombella, Vivian, and that Yoshi kid. I'm sure I have more, but I can't really think.

I personally haven't played Paper Mario a whole lot (I got the Wii game, but I didn't get very far into the game; probably got bored). But I am looking forward to getting Paper Mario Sticker Star.

Agree the first was the best.

Oops, I made a thread about Super Paper Mario, and somehow I didn't see this one. I guess I'll delete it now. Anyways, I only have Super Paper Mario, so I think that's the best one in the series. I've done just about EVERYTHING to possibly do, including get Piccolo the pixl, get about 240 out of 256 cards, and a lot of the recipes. If you need any help with anything, just ask!

I still own a perfectly working Paper mario n64 cartridge. Sadly enough i don't own the box still.
About the 3ds game it seems disappointing (In my opinion) they removed lots of great things for boring things. There are no partners and badges. Also stickers are just items with a new name.

How far have you gotten through chapter 4?
That's my least favorite chapter. The music and atmosphere is great, the enemies are cool, AMAZY DAYZEE is there, look carefully for it, the villagers are cool, the villian of the chapter is hilarious. What do I hate about it?
SPOILERS SPOILERS
Half the chapter is backtracking.

I finished the whole game like a month ago. I just never told anyone. Chapter 4 was actually really short, imo, but there was still quite a bit of backtracking. The ending was also pretty good and the Shadow Queen actually turned out to be pretty easy once I found a way to evade her attacks.

Yeah, but I love doopliss. I thought my screen was frozen after I beat doopliss who switched my body. It took me 30 minutes to realize that I had beaten myself. 30 MINUTES.
The battle music for Bowser 2nd fight is AWESOME.
If you wanna look it up, the name is "Big bowser Koopa Krush."

I'm getting Paper Mario 3DS.
Paper Mario is one of my favorite series and I've played and loved all the games.
The Thousand Year Door is my favorite, played it over and over again at least 10 times. So much nostalgia.

You can't say it's the best without playing the first two. The RPG style in the first two usually is superior in the eyes of the fans. Super Paper Mario was a let down for some people. I think it comes third, but it's tough to say a Paper Mario game is bad.

I've played all of them except for TTYD, and I only played the original in a hotel room.

I've only played the Scratch versions by Thesuperguidegames.

I also started out with Super Paper Mario, but eventually got around to playing the other two since I was interested in the series as a whole. SPM is a bit underrated, as its story and side characters are somewhat more superior, while the first two (especially TTYD) are overall superior in terms of gameplay. The whole series has been pretty great so far and the storylines have become more complicated (in a good way), I just hope Sticker Star can live up to those expectations.
On a side note, I do not want Bowser as the main villain. ಠ_ಠ
If so, then there should at least be a surprise twist at the end, like the others did.

I saw some gameplay and it looks very different.

As have I. It does look pretty cool so far.
