I bet your music has a really big file size, which Scratch won't play well, or it is .mp3, which Scratch can be touchy with.

I've had this exact problem in the past
The advice I'd give you is to convert them to .WAV format before putting them into scratch.
I usually use Audacity for that task but there's probably other ways to do it

You could use www.zamzar.com because it's free and doesn't require an account, but both websites will work.
