There's no question. It's 100% safe all the time.

No it wasn't... It was made for all ages...

Yes. Scratch is amazingly secure and safe, and never asks you for any personal info (besides your birth date, but that isn't stored anywhere). Any people that ask for personal info have nothing on you, because you don't have to tell them anything. The moderators work hard to keep the website safe and clean.

+1
And they don't even ask for your exact b-day, just the month and year

No, just you're birth month and year. And they only use it for security reasons.

And statistics.

Re: How safe is Scratch?

It must be incredibly safe if it's allowed on my school computers.

Re: How safe is Scratch?

Scratch is a very safe website, as it's supposed to be aimed at people of all ages, but mostly children and teens use it. There are many moderators who work hard to keep the site clean from things like commercial spam and inappropriate content, so this place has a relatively high security level.

It's perfect, we're allowed to express ourselves freely without being banned permanently for using the word "dumb", (which I have honestly seen on a few sites  tongue ), and the whole website isn't censored for you just because you're not 13+.

Actually, we can't really express ourselves in all ways. I like something, (hint: beaver) and if I just say I like him, I get flamed.

You're allowed to have your own opinions, those people are simply being bigots.

No, I've never seen this happen.  I..... won't state my strong opposite opinion, but this hasn't happened.  I think.

Re: How safe is Scratch?

I haven't ever experienced anything to make me think Scratch isn't a safe website....you just have to be smart and don't give out any personal info (other than what is required to sign up) and you'll be fine!

Re: How safe is Scratch?

Scratch is probably the safest place I've come across on the internet. Seriously, it's on the point of being "too safe" or even "so safe that it's scary".
